DR -I was only thinking of that last night. it is quite an achievement - even for word salad guy - to get your company valued at less than the cash it holds in the bank.

i seriously considered it too...but thought bio would take advantage of the plunging SP...or should i say hoped.
the revenue figure was very disappointing - but more worringly just goes to show that the multitude of tenuous posts of linkedin likes of tata etc /covid /or insect thingies is really not meaningful in terms of revenue

i dont think NCYT struggling to get votes is going to inspire confidence in the market valuing the company either
as for the references to counter claims by a certain date - if it doesn't happen then another less than ideal marker

think it will be a long painful summer tbh

I just think word salad man talked a good game in the job interview...used all the important key words...but there was no real substance...

Let's be honest his April presentation was like a job interview...where the person who says all the right things...gets the job ..at the expense of someone who could do a better job but not articulate it

I think what people are not realising is how much the russian invasion of Ukraine is going to end up costing the west.

Sure they used sanctions on Russia to hurt it...but with an intertwined global economy it hurts everyone. The arms being sent to Ukraine will have to be paid for...the refugees will cost....then if and when Ukraine is rebuilt - who do you think will pay for it ?

As you said fuel and food prices are just at the start of potential rises..

Which underlines how hard odx will find it difficult to survive in the future unless there is a serious change in performance.

Pretty impressive....must be deserving of a pay rise.

I know very little about abdx...but they do seem to be able to generate frothy RNS....I don't know how much substance is behind them...revenue would suggest not much.

So that is a big difference between them and odx...whose only good rns in best part of a year was CE mark approval...though even that had the worry in the small print of more data needed...which many of us feared odx would not produce on time going by past history

2 of the metrics that should be used to measure the success of the last year - are SP and revenue. the first has crashed and the second has been disappointing. I find it very hard to see how they can justify a pay rise?

at the moment we seem to be paying rather a lot for linkedin likes

sale of CD4 will probably not be transformational in my opinion. lets say they get £3m but have taken 4 months at £300k to do it? leaves £1.8m in cash. whilst this might pay jag wages and track suit dry cleaning for the next year it means that all that is left is food intolerance..no more jewels to sell. the £1.8 could also in theory be swallowed up in the pre production payment owed to the gov...

the only thing that can transform odx is actually selling something.

Well it was at the time that the sp was a lot frothier due to bio buying..unfortunately his word salad does seem to have put them off...quite amazing work really...certainly deserving of a pay rise methinks

b2 - tbh the biggest criticism i have found of AIM companies is the communication. it seems that SH are viewed more as an inconvenience than the owners of the company. The ones that do update the market frequently are often those lifestyle companies that the bod try to pump the sp beyond what it is actually worth.

what was unforgiveable was telling us there would be an update in april with a clear plan going forward - all would be revealed - and it wasn't.

i think he came across very well on the tv interview regarding monkey pox - there was a definite threat and he was saying how NCYT are working on it and should have something ready soon. this is what i mean about a definite product and market. NCYT are clearly very good in reactive work but the issue seems to be with the long term bread and butter work

unfortunately everything else has just been word salad - speaking a lot but not saying anything.
why? has he not made his mind up yet on specifics ? if so he has had more than enough time.

it is understandable that they want to get things right rather than rush - but products take time to develop and get regulatory approval ...

I think a lot of people like me were willing to give DA the benefit of the doubt. he was doing his "walk around" for the first 100 days which was fair enough. he seems to have pretty much gone walk about since if the presentation was anything to go by.
there should have been R&D updates and a clear specific indication by now of what the future products are about to be launched and/or in the pipeline .
vague diagrams and bubbles is no good after all this time he has been in charge. less word salad and more meat is what we need.

you can understand the desperation to find tenuous links eg likes on linkedin or random news articles ....FFS
because SH are not given any real info

they can be pretty specific on pay rise and LTIP plans
