it is quite clear that the market did not like the presentation and that has been responsible for the plummet since April - and the way the markets are at the moment it is not going to be recovering any time soon....gonna be a long hard summer

unfortunately unless bio start up again it seems we are going to need another covid variant or pandemic if salad man doesn't get his act together soon

ncyt told the market that they felt they had a good case - so an absence of a counter claim would be taken badly. today no more than they expected. the market is currently terrible and so it was never going to make a dent.
the dispute will no doubt take ages so nothing will happen soon

the reality is the market wants to see something going forward from NCYT ...they want to see something concrete

tbh since the april presentation and subsequent collapse in SP - I have started to refer to it as NOVASHYTE..............

today was good news nonetheless....and whilst i can understand the current market not reacting positively to the news today - i do think it has saved us from dropping significantly further.

my real hope today is that it has reassured bio somewhat and they will renew interest.....would love an aggressive takeover and replacement of word salad guy with someone a bit meatier

I can read but I fail to see how selling half the remaining lines in your portfolio will guarantee rapid growth in the other half? Yes they MAY end up with some cash after the expenses of selling are accounted for - though it is still not guaranteed but that has never been a factor. ODX can easily repeat history by frittering away cash and still not producing / selling anything

lets say they do it - and with the current sales team that has to be a huge question mark. what will they be earning in the next 1-3 years? will they be able to survive bearing in mind the serious recession we are going to be hit by.....future placings must be highly questionable and I can't see how they could carry it out anyway without some new jam

i think not claiming the £30m was a smart move personally....NCYT are basically saying pay what you were contracted to...we have been fair all along..offered to sort problem out and didn't even try to charge for the money wasted on your instructions.

all looks good to a judge.no doubt morally ncyt are owed the £30m but lets be honest better to get the whole thing over and done with and the decision in our favour than lose out by being greedy

if any sector had no morals - then it is the financial sector. do you think if funds or institutional investors think they can make money from Russian stocks they will say - oh no...lets not?
the posturing and virtual signalling has been done. there will be a caution in relying on russia but not if it comes to making money.

personally i think currently that odx have more hope of buys from existing holders averaging down. stock market generally goes quiet in summer...the recent battering of the markets means new money will be cautious and there are currently a lot of much better companies are "on sale" .

why choose a company with no sales history - one product left and trying to sell in a very difficult market (USA)
I am afraid 7 trades yesterday for a combined total of £1500 ish speaks volumes. expecting another huge trading volume today!

excellent news on the counterclaim.

it shows that they believe they have a strong case to get monies owed. They have shown as all along they are being reasonable with the claim - which should hopefully go in their favour with judge and preserve any working relationship with DHSC.

caley - what i suspect is that the bod members who sold out at the top - which was strange to us at the time as we were waiting for the gov contract to kick in and the rest of the covid test capacity to be used privately - had decided that this was the best price they could get. strangely it turned out to be correct. maybe they understood the company better than we did.

trader - just looking at trades - someone sold 2850 shares for £99...that could have potentially cost them £3k - now that is unlucky....
the track suit king drawing a fine wage and selling his free shares at 90p was not unlucky - seems almost too lucky to me

a series of tests approval applications sent in too late / incomplete / not supported by the right data or testing results
no coherent sales strategy - sell tests to china / pursue pro lft in usa / achieve ce mark but don't sell anything in eu

after 30 years they still can't survive on the revenue they bring in.....yep guess just unlucky

food prices haven't even started - because the farmers are now paying feed at x4 the price for food that will be sold in september....how is that going to pan out?

More likely there are prob quite a few on here that are feeling sick to their stomach looking at their portfolio dwindle day after the day with shares in a good company with great scientific minds behind it - run very badly

my guess on bringing agm forward is that a) it is an inconvenience that they just want over and done as quickly as possible and b) judging by last year they knew they would probably struggle to acquire the required votes....so get the first one done quickly.

I personally doubt they have master plan on news and manipulation of the SP. the dhsc claim is out of their hands timing wise - it will tick along at a very slow rate.
we have no indication they are even going to issue a counter claim ......i am afraid it is as much conjecture at this time as linkedin likes and other tenuous media links .

the only thing that will drive the SP is product.

i don't think anybody on twitter needs to try and drive the SP down - the CEO seems to be a grand job on his own
