I suspect the gov will release a booster but I think it won't be such an easy sell to the public.

The recent boosters seemed to have had little effect on Omicron and I think more and more people are wary of potential risks.

The reality is the variants are coming too fast and furious for vaccines. By the time they produce one another variant is dominant. If the vaccine offered is not specifically targeting the dominant variant at the time there has to be a serious question mark

The argument of the Vax prevents more serious illness will no doubt be put out...but unless deaths start increasing I am not sure how much sway it will have.

don't think people are terrified of SP rising - I suspect or should i say hope most would be happy for odx to rise again like a phoenix.
the issue is that sentiment and trust has gone for many on here towards odx.

yes they will get some cash for CD4 - a huge positive bearing in mind they were previously willing to give it away or abandon - however it is a bit like an unemployable person (colin king?) finding a nice watch they were given as a present years before. they can sell it for a few bottles of buckhurst today but it does not mean anything has changed long term

it is a good point and something i was pondering this morning.
if there is zero interest in odx - which the number of trades suggests. then it is hard to see what effect if any the sale of CD4 will have?
the biggest rise might well be before the sale figure is announced - due to a bit of speculation on what the figure "could" be. i see some on here are already trying to suggest totally unrealistic figures - more than the whole company was worth with CD4 included! i am sure some others might start a pump and dump

however in reality when odx get some cash - so what? would you still invest in a company that possibly still can't turn a profit and will fritter the cash on wages and biscuits?

the MMs might make a spike on the day but it is hard to see people buying in after ?

caley - really? one of the best recovery stocks? with the number of trades recently. there is defo a trade at the moment. will need a lot more to be a recovery stock

there were a lot of "shouty" voices during the sp crash from £1. what is interesting is seeing so many of the now "negative" voices that were once super bullish.....

unfortunately what we are left with is someone who gave it "word salad" in the interview getting his first ceo job....he hid for 100 days - to give him time to read the "CEOs for dummies" book.....but it really has not worked as he stopped after chapter 2 - asking for a big raise every year

not sure if that was a serious remark? but that is more than the market valued the whole company - with cd4 / cash / and the supposedly highly profitable food intolerance division and future prospects

interesting post caley on resolving pre court. i suspect odx do not currently have the cash to take gov to court which means they will have to settle something out of court or run the risk of losing. the gov on the other hand won't care as it is no one individual's money or time.

be interesting to see how "confident" odx really are...lets hope more than my confidence in their ability to understand contracts

it was indeed good news for NCYT today as strengthens their case hugely. However i still think odx are in a dodgier position. trying to claim pre production payment when nothing was ever produced could be a challenge. the more cases that the gov loses the more they might be determined to grab back any cash they can - to save face and show they are doing their best to recoup the billions wasted. it is unfortunate that the clown king was given his crayons that day before a grown up read the contract

I suspect the market sees it in terms of just CTDA approval for a covid product - when future revenues are questionable.

The real good news is that it strengthens the ncyt case against DHSC...which many might not be aware of. in addition unfortunately the markets are so bad that any good news will most likely be lost in terms of SP gains. Although i am sure as always a sniff of bad news would be hammered senseless

i see this as a very good day in terms of NCYT cash balance. however nothing has changed in regards future focus

a trading update showed that revenue from covid was decreasing at a more rapid rate and that non covid revenue was poor. added to a poor presentation in april - the market does not see where future revenue will be achieved and considered DA's talk of £100m as word salad with no foundation

Where is the evidence for this claim? certainly not from any RNS
remember they are disposing of a £300k a month loss making line of the portfolio. the company also have a history of not getting back anywhere near money spent in the firesale of their assets (Alva)

in this current buyers market - everyone knows that odx have only got until beginning of september to dispose of CD4 - as this will clean out the £1.2m raised for this purpose in the recent placing. the main thing is to stop the losses with any cash received as a bonus - to enable bod's wages to be paid for longer

very unlikely in my opinion that £4m will be achieved

blue - whilst i agree that long term less countries will want to be energy dependent on russia - this takes years to cut the umbilical cord . even by next year some countries will be out. however this winter is far too soon.

This is why I can see a push for peace coming up to autumn. Fuel prices going to jump by 64% already. Food is going to go up...and people are going to realise that sanctions are a bit of an own goal. Putin will be tempted to play nasty knowing that he holds the cards for now but not necessarily for long. Different kind of stinger coming
