never met the "king" though - he pays promptly though and often get a sausage roll and bottle of buckfast to make sure i have energy to post as much as possible

I very much doubt there will be a DHSC update before AGM...These things are excruciatingly slow.

If you read the thread yesterday i was the only one that got insulted - and to be honest it is water off a ducks back.
i don't play the victim mentality game that is so prevalent these days with offence used as currency.

if you read my post yesterday you will see that I did not insult anyone i specified that i don't like salad or find a particular description attractive. A poster took this to heart - even though she said it did not fit her description and insulted "elderly men" which she assumed I was . It was all a bit silly as firstly i am not and secondly we will all get old in time . i guess most of us have relatives who would fit this description too? not sure how they would have liked these comments!

completely agree B - and this is why some many posters have to come up with the most tenuous links of any article anywhere remotely connected to diagnostics and companies liking linkedin profiles. and this is passed off as "deep research"

it has been 3 months since a very verbose but non substantial presentation in April. we are invested in a company which either still does not know exactly where it is going or chooses to not inform the owners of the company - retail SH

bio deciding that they are no longer so interested and disposing of some of their holding in my opinion shows that even big boys are losing patience with a ceo who has quite honestly delivered no value since taking over - only the destruction of the SP

To get to 10p the market cap would have to increase by £15m .
I said all along that I thought odx would get less than £3m for cd4..and that is being generous. I think with royalty clause they will get less than they might have got on a straight sell

So let's say all the ducks align...£3m and the gov drop dispute.. that is only an added £5.5m

doug and hedge - ouch! me too lost a lot of cash on odx. felt a gov contract not only guaranteed millions of income but also offered a recommendation on the credibility of the company.
I honestly can't see the company lasting unless they can come up with another product for another pandemic or huge earning opportunity. even then I would play the pump before the sales figures actually emerged

i hope everyone gets their money back either through odx or alternative investments

Mip..to be fair to trader..I don't think he wants people to lose money..he just gets sucked into pointless arguments. The type where nobody comes out of it well or gains in anything except those seeking attention.

I would suggest the ones that really lost people money eg big sweaty sock jock and Reggie gold commander seem to get off Scott free which is quite bizarre when you think about it ?

Caley...Boris and co were disgraceful...however Colin got his crayons to sign an absolutely disastrous contract with no min..and not understanding timeline or test requirements ..so odx can only really blame themselves.

I suspect they are still a bit in denial..which is why they think they will have a case. Bottom line is if you don't produce how can you be entitled to a pre production payment ?

Odx will have taken a lower price ..in return for royalties..let's hope they read the contract better this time and the new company can deliver on sales.

Cd4 is an intriguing test because I am guessing the main market is 3rd world countries and they tend to not have much cash. I doubt the new company will be as bad at sales as odx...but still remains to be seen how much revenue it can generate

i have noticed a lot of things - a placing scandal / renewed placing / selling alva at a loss / stopping covid manufacture / selling off CD4
in a nut shell LTH have been diluted and the company has been asset stripped in a fire sale

with all respect i will take anyone at odx being able to understand a contract with a pinch of salt. the gov is confident that they are owed money

It will not be decided by his confidence or saying he is confident. it will ultimately come down to how far the gov want to pursue eg court and then that would be down to a judge.

i don't know if the company have used an overdraft in their 30 year history. I suspect they have never been in dispute with gov and owing them money before?

Trader ...exactly . It is odx themselves that feel they need the overdraft. Because they have yet to turn a profit in over 30 years of business.

If they have to pay the gov dispute ..then they will need it for sure .

The future royalties I suspect has been a tactic to drive the sale price down. The other company are getting odx to share in the risk or reward.
Without knowing the details like how much it is hard to get excited .

Is cd4 a big seller ? Will the new company be able to make a go of it

Lets say odx wanted £3m but have been offered £1m with royalties. It could be a good deal if a long term success on the other hand maybe a higher price would have been better.

Going to be interesting to see the developments as always with odx.

Meanwhile no update on the only area remaining in the portfolio. Been 6 months under the track suit king and no significant news on selling product ....

well i think we will need to see the figures first. At the moment they "probably" have a sale subject to DD and overdraft has minimum extension.

3 months was not great and i suspect indicates offer for CD4 won't be huge. remember banks lend to those who have money
Hardly a ringing endorsement on odx management when they say their product will do better under someone else. mind you i suspect food intolerance would also do better elsewhere

the market is awful at the moment and it will be i suspect all summer.
hopefully ukraine will get peace talks pre autumn or i fear things could get real ugly.
expect more price hikes in food and fuel come september.

as for odx - even those bucket shop flippers who bought in on placing need 33% rise to just get their money back....i suspect any whiff of over 4p and they will be selling out big time.
odx need to sell CD4 quickly for whatever they can get.
