There's a comment in this thread which suggests at the current OP Tullow barely breaks even. Here's the flip side:

Tullow's underlying cash operating costs per barrel in 2024 is ~272m (which excludes non-cash items and finance/debt servicing costs).

22m barrels produced in 2024, Tullow's production cost is as low as $12 per barrel. There's quite a bit of room there to service debt. The impairment arises because the composition of the debt to be serviced is extremely unfavourable: short-term & expensive (interest alone is ~$280m).

The debt WILL be restructured. The alternative (pulling the plug ) is a lose-lose-lose. Why do it?

Tullow - extremely risky bet, for those who like the adrenaline... A debt/equity swap is inevitable. Question is whether the current SP is oversold relative..

I quite like Serica (188p) and Harbour (213p) at these levels. Once the Ukraine peace process collapses and in turn Brent corrects, these will go back to 220 and 240 respectively.

Medium-term:

Serica is solid and consensus is 250p.

Harbour recently announced they are shopping around for non-UK projects. Announcement of a potential transaction could create significant upside.

The bond price (what really matters) is holding fairly steady at around 86 cents on the dollar. The refinancing will happen. It will dilute the shareholders for sure but the pain level will be higher than current SP. The play is buy now and wait for re-rating post refinance, my guess 202-5p range is where this'll steady.

The fact that RKH has not been mirroring Navitas' rise is a testament to the complacency of the UK fund manager. They have no f'n clue, do they?

Sorry for the off-topic rant guys but having worked in this country for nearly 30 years now I have witnessed the downward spiral on a daily basis and by now am so radicalised I can't shut my mouth any more... The UK business environment (and the deliberately preventative corporate governance that underpins it) is one giant deal-prevention machine... Keith and Rachel being at the helm is not the cause but the manifestation of what happened here.
