Green boxes: So useful & timesaving!Today 10:38
My Green Boxes now total 102 different posters from JLP, Frontera and a few other builtin boards I read regularly. Such a timesaving & useful resource that saves me reading through troll-speak-gibberish that adds nothing to investment information.
However, many thanks to posters who do try to offer knowledgeable & constructive information for our benefit. 👍😁🌹

Evening All LTHs.
I've been watching the metal prices for nearly as long as this board & like others are perplexed to see our metal prices are not doing well.
Just this evening I noticed that Palladium has now dropped below the Platinum price, which it always used to be many years ago. In-fact Platinum was more expensive than gold for many years, & couples used to make their wedding rings of it because of this. Also I think Platinum has more industrial uses than Palladium.
With car makers substitution of Platinum for Palladium, (because of cost advantage) in a very competitive market in recent years, it was no surprise that Palladium sp overtook Platinum.
With the advent of electric cars both metals have been struggling; so now the Americans (along with others) have said they favoured hydrogen fuel the popularity of both metals is reversing. Platinum being used both in electrolysis for hydrogen production & the fuel cell.
As for copper and it's price; it always has been an important industrial metal used universally in our modern civilization, so with or without a shortfall in production, JLP will benefit from turning 'Rags to Riches.'
Our day will come fellow investors but, (as my Dad always said), "Time is my Enemy" now with increasing age and health issues!
Good luck,
Cavey 🤞
G'Day True Investors,
Many thanks people for many really good informative post but I do have an enormous number of green boxes linked to individuals who have nothing to post but garbage and inflammatory negative information.
The rest of us would do well to not encourage these trolls.

Tjatje is over 4,000 feet underground with a mine that won't be built because platinum will never be profitable @ under ↑ $5,000!

Thoughts.
It is interesting to see how the prices of these two metals have changed over the previous year in relation to one another.
In January palladium was about $1877 Troy Oz compared with platinum then being $977 for same, or 88% more expensive. Today however the price gap is much narrower with palladium being $1011 against platinum at $927 or only 9% more expensive; both of course much cheaper than in previous years, which is why our basket prices have taken such a knock!
Historically platinum has been the more expensive metal, (at times being more than gold), and one would assume that this will be the case. Presumably it's the motor manufacturer's that have switched metals in car catalytic converters that have made the difference over time. Will electric vehicles put paid to demand in the future or will the Noble metals forever have a new need in engineering?

Morning People!
"ZCCM took control of Mopani from Glencore after agreeing to pay the Swiss commodities giant $1.5 billion in a deal funded by debt.10 Oct 2023"
Assuming that to be correct as posted on Google; it would be highly unlikely that Glencore would be buying back in so quickly again.
JLP would certainly Not be buying Mopani as they are not in that league and it seems there have been other complicated negotiations re: Mopani's dept et Al. However the Zambian Govt' has said it has decided on a deal re: Mopani as the Co. has stated it wants to increase copper output to 3m tonnes in the coming year.
We can hope that part of the process would involve recovering metals (copper) from it's hitherto 'discarded dumps' which is where the tie-up could be with JLP.
We wait for news today?

Well done to all our great posting slueths for finding and trying to intelligently decipher very recent information.
Still a way to go maybe but think of the positive kudos that Steve Nicandros & others will accrue/accumulate should he pull this off and relist our company! Private & Institutional organizations will be much more comfortable putting their money into a company run by someone who they can trust!
Cavey 🤞🙏
Well I'm sure as I can be that this extended decline in the s.p. is not something that any company can change given the World economy & conflicts raging at this time.
PGMs have all declined significantly in the last 24 months & they are/were one of our products! But not all off them thank goodness. By luck or good judgement our management has diversified into other metals, the 'Star' currently being Chrome; which not that many years ago was the 'baine of our PGMs production issues!'
How times have changed as it is now our 'star performer.'
As like many of you, I am down significantly & am expecting even more s.p. deflation 😕.
I do feel that small buy-backs could show/& benefit our company a little, before metal commodity prices recover.

P.S. despite me having many 'green boxes' there are some very good comments on this board.
Doing a share BUYBACK could be a very canny opportunity in these difficult times and with the price so surprisingly reduced. I'm sure it would be a very positive action with many and would do wonders for the future price & general building confidence around.
Thinking positively.
Cavey. 👍
The world demands for Chrome metal is immense and like Copper will only get stronger as the supplies get tighter and 'green demands' become increasingly stronger
At these prices this company is a good bet!

Morning Chaps,
My chat page has recently been filled with a 'Helluva lot' of green boxes which undoubtedly saves my time reading cr*p. However some really excellent posters, at times, continue to respond to this DRIVEL. You are only encouraging the morons too! 😆
I personally think we are all going to do very well with Jubilee. 👍😁
Happy times are coming.

The above link to a BBC article makes an interesting read about how some of the Georgian population feel towards Russian tourists visiting their country; and by implication the hostilities caused by the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

HELLS BELLS!
I'm thinking now that this farce will never come to a good conclusion for us 'Investors' in our lifetime and that no one expects their money's to be effectively confiscated without any recourse to meaningful explanation.
I know that I took a risk, but with a trading share I could alway decide to sell. However we have had NO choice and have had no explanation or apologies from anyone connected to this management!

The past following on from the above saying this was prophetic has now been deleted from the board & my history as though it never existed.
How strange? It was neither rude, inflammatory or overtly political.
Is the Russian Elephant actually "IN THE ROOM?"

Morning all positive people here.
It is good to read that this company is slowly getting legal matters & problems sorted, for all of us hopefully.
However, being a pragmatist, I understand that even though the Georgian people want a more forward aspirational Western leaning democracy; their corrupt government is determined to keep the 'Status quo' within the Russian orbit, led by the murderous dictator Putin.
Both he and his cronies are determined to keep their power & corruptive administration intact. So I personally feel that until they are totally removed, this/our company will struggle to do anything positive for us.
Pessimistic but still hopeful .
