This price is starting to look good for this summer's divis. Been selling my certificate shares from the rights issue at 25p, to top up my ISA :))

Hi Trent yes I know the Glassworks , the landlady from our local went to a marstons pub just down the road from there and we went to visit her. At the moment in our local everyone is saying how good the WainWright's bitter is, one of the best beers they ever tasted

Thanks Tom. I'm a bit of a traditionalist too but I do like innovation. I think what prince Charles did with his estate was an example, keeping cars away from the houses. If we have to build on green fields why not put the roads and garages underneath the houses and having more green areas. There would be no garages or roads on the surface, more surface area means a few more houses per acre, more profit. Well that's my thought for the week

Hi Tom. Yes that's the estate. To me they are characterless grew blocks might be great inside I've not been in. If you go on street view you can see the Bryant houses opposite they had some fantastic architects

I've lost touch with this share after seeing my initial investment whither away. Looking in now I am amazed the portfolio they have amassed where did all the funding come from surely not all by dilution

I've been a share holder for over 30 years in this company from my Bryant days. Tw are building an estate in Swindon opposite an older Bryant estate, you can see which is the better estate and it's not the new one it looks like a grey council estate from the 1950s. I'm all for increasing profits and divis but if we are leaving behind something not to be proud of I'd like a little less. TW are probably the best at the moment and I will keep invested

Trent I've been adding at these low prices for a while now. What is your feelings on the level of divi at these low prices. The latest presentation seems to suggest that the company can maintain the current level and more divi growth. Surely the sp can only rise with this present yield

I see Greene King had a good festive period selling a record 154,000 meals on Xmas day. RF said that Marstons revenue on Xmas day was a record £4m

Ralph Finlay mentioned that there would be some cost saving measures with the CW acquisition and CW products will be available in all their premises and vice versa. I also spoke briefly to the refurbishment manager and asked do they ask customers what they want before a refurbishment , of course the answer was no, but I wish they would. I mentioned the Old Colonial in Weston he said that's one of the next, it's desperate in need of one, no beer last time I went in there

Must have been over 300 people attended yesterday was a good day with a hot lunch and 1 free drink then a £1 pint. Will have to catch the train next year. Wasn't a quick meeting. Share price before 2010 went down to the 60p with an open offer around that price them slowly rose to today's price. CW will add another 1500 pubs this year that they will be supplying to. I'm not sure about the spare capacity

Just got back from the agm at the Wolves stadium.Very impressed with the presentation and the board's responses at question time. Some concerns over the amount of debt but the board seemed at ease with this being covered by the assets and profitability. Lot of questions in the sp returning to 2010 levels and the board acknowledged this with the new sites not yet up to full potential but they will help the sp to recover along with the CW acquisition.

I've been trying to transfer my accounts out of this shambles since October no one at barclays can tell me when it will be transferred. I lodged a complaint and they sent me a very nice hamper as an apology a fortnight ago. Just received a letter saying that my complaint has been closed with still no news of the transfer. Has anyone any ideas of what I do next?

I went to the AGM in Birmingham in 2016 and during the questions to the Board a shareholder kept asking scathing questions and the faces on the Board members looked very uncomfortable. She kept asking questions and was getting annoyed they wouldn't give her a straight answer. I wish I had taken notice of what she was trying to get at, it is very obvious now she knew something wasn't right
