I'm not keen on IPA but they must be selling a lot. Nothing better than a pint of Banks bitter but it is becoming harder to find as their promoting lighter beers this year. Ralph said on that video that youngsters prefer the lighter beers. He never heard me shouting what about the oldies ATB:))

Hi Nige I tried to set up a HSBC ISA years ago but had to cancel when they wouldn't accept AIM shares . Very happy with the Sharecentre I just transfer the money from my bank account through the sharecentre site , I don't go into my bank. Then each April I have to tick a box to say I haven't invested anywhere else. ATB:))

I've had the same experiences as Zed and I have sent an e mail to Marstons in which Ralph Findlay promptly replied and actions would be taken. I don't think much will alter and have not so far., their policy is to get out of discount meals and raise prices on micro wave meals. For the same price meal in my local I can get waitress service a mile down the road which is home cooked food

Talking to my lad at the weekend whose an accountant in a property company, he was trying to tell his take on Tw, me being a more practical type it went in one ear and straight through :)) it reminded me when Maggie took over not many people realised that's when accountants took over not Maggie,( then we had a recession) Builders and accountants didn't mix well different views. Most accountants can do wonder with figures but always disagree with each other. But now in the Tw sp we are all agreeing ie builders, accountants, brokers, chartists this should be way higher than it is today £2.60+ I'm going to hide now I can see a lot of flack coming my way. Hi LGO from what I can make out BG(shell) have licenses to the north and east of T&T, BP seen to be more SE, BHP to the north. Photos I have seen looking out to sea from SWP show oil rigs are there the unmanned rigs of BP, Shell, Canadian company not sure

Hi Peter that a relief :)) do you know who has the licenses in the gulf of Paria last time I looked it was a Canadian company apart from the one that Range bought recently. I thought Shell had a license next to the SWP. ATB:))

Hi Nige I hope I'm right too ,last year we were still under the Brexit effects and the uncertainty of not knowing if there would be another special divi. This year we are all a bit wiser on Brexit and we have a 5 year divi policy ahead. I could be wrong but I don't think it will drop so much after x divi. ATB:))))

After x divi date what ever this fall's to it won't last very long I've heard a lot of people going to buy, this won't be like last year with a big drop :))

Hi Jak it would be a disaster if it did go to £1 to me it's way undervalued at £2 and I believe the new policy of adding customer value will far surpass other builders and keep the share price growing ATB:))

Talking to my nephew today, he works for Bovis, he was asking whether I thought they might be sold as he was investing as they have a good land bank. They remind me a bit of Bryant homes who had a huge landbank but no direction for growth and were finally taken over by Taylor woodrow. Think consolidation might happen imho

I showed my son TommyR's post last Friday being an accountant he understood it and told me in simple turns pay £2 now and get back £1 in 5 years and still have the shares at £2 barring any unforeseen circumstances.that's 50% return. What's not to like :)))))))

Hi Rio did I read that you are in Barclays stockbrokers. I was in there for years when they took over Charles Schwab great web site then they changed to that awful site. The divis were taking a week to get into the account. Decided to transfer out , what a nightmare, started last October made a complaint in January the shares were locked in couldn't trade, I had a few Carillion in there which I lost. They sent me a nice hamper to keep me happy but still took till March to transfer one the other I'm waiting . Anyone thinking of doing the same I would advise to sell everything into cash before transfer especially if it's an ISA. Enjoy the sunshine ATB:))

I'm wondering what the sp will finish up this time next week, still hoping for 205 . May rise a bit more on the following Monday before the x divi on the Thursday. Have a good weekend all

Hi Londoner I noticed coming out of Weston yesterday a huge building on the old airport just gone up and apparently it is a Marstons lodge whether it has a bar I don't know but probably. It dominates the skyline. At least the sp finished above a pound. Have a good weekend ATB :))
