Hi all hope you enjoying the sun. Just spent an hour in the shade reading the Sound energy board probably 6-9 months away from the ceo liquidity events of 4 digits price. Most on here won't invest but I've convinced most of my family. Do take a look and don't miss out but do your own research. In the future we could all be using Moroccan gas. Best of luck.

Hi Ftsemajor if the trading update indicates the divi will be maintained I can see this hitting £13 again. I hope so I topped up last summer thinking 12.80 was a good price it might yet still be. Average is still way low though been here a long time. :))

Hi Edgar waterflood could take a lot of patience I wouldn't expect anything till after Xmas . NR forecasted 12 months to see any benefit and knowing him could be 24 ATB

There was an article in moneyweek this week saying why you should invest in companies that everyone hates and has been a proven way of making a profit. This share only fits in this category where it is the market that doesn't like it, everyone else can see it should be higher

I know most of you are FTSE followers where as I'm only 50% and the rest I look for growth stocks. I been following a small company called N4pharma when their share rises it tends to stay up for a while before retreating. You going to ask me what they do, well they have produced a similar drug to viagra. Well it made me smile.:))

Morning Nige . The select committee were investigating excessive boardroom pay more than just builders. As the CEO of PSN is the main culprit they were getting at his pay. Legislation is sure to follow. Not only builders went bankrupt 10 years ago, I retired early. Best move I made. There are still lots of small builders about they are all round here at mo, driving me nuts. Have a good day, I off up the Malverns :))

Hi Nige I see the new chair of persimmon remuneration committee in trouble with the commons select committee in not being able to say what the average pay of their staff was and multiple to the CEO pay. BOL

Hi Johnson. Numerous things about BT. The way they increase the bills as if their doing you a favour. For instance I had a letter from them" congratulations as a valid customer we are going to give you something you really need - a new American soap, for this we raising your line rental by £1 pm" I've not had and don't want it but they still raised the line price. Then there's the football cost added to the line rental. I could go on but I'll leave it at that. Grr

Hi Johnson just read that article you posted. The one stock I really don't like is BT they make my blood boil :(( they are going x divi 9th Aug paying 10.55p at £2 so using that theory they must be worth a punt and get out before the 9th.

Hi Tom he certainly seems to be following you around I would complain to the admin if I was you. What I really don't like is the abusive language he's brought here by others so would be good to see the back of him. Hi you 3, I been listening and followed you in and out of ITV but can't get enthused about Vodafone I sold mine must be 15 years ago at 190ish not much different now. I'm into Gallifords at mo, they've had their downs this year but doing ok now , on for 64p divi in Nov looks achievable, dropped from £13 recently to below £8 and rights issue below 6 now nearly £10 . Hi Nige. I had a friend who had a successful builders merchants, he had to sell out when Taylor's bought Bryant s as they had their own contracts with different suppliers. I read somewhere that one of the big quarry companies has bought a mountain in Norway to import here. Things changing to fast for my liking.ATB:))

Hi Rio not trying to cause any division or argument. I voted to remain although I don't like Junkers. The decision to leave will only affect the younger generation by the time it's all sorted which I can't see being finalised for ten years. The main fault is with the young that didn't vote. It's only my opinion ATB :))

Hi OWLS. Just a point but Tw never have reached £5 that was Taylor Woodrow and I sold some at 5.30. Hi Nige. Having worked in construction all my life I can honestly say that most buildings are 50% foreign imports I not sure where you get your info from. Biggest concrete firms are Mexican, French. Timber is imported from Sweden , Canada . Roof tiles Spain is a big importer to Britain. Kitchen units mostly from Germany. Wiring from China. Electrical sockets France. Most cement factories are French owned Doesn't really bother me that much it's just trade. ATB:))

Hi Troubles. Lawsons money would buy a very nice chateaux. No good, whiskey in Cognac don't mix :)) my niece lives very close to the Hennessey chateaux very nice and the brandy. I used to think Lawson was a great Chancellor but saw him on Question Time, completely changed my opinion of him, the French are welcome to him. Brexit is bad news in my opinion it's not going to effect the over 65s too much it's more about the future of our youth and the older population shouldn't have had a vote and I'm one of them
