Our overseas saviours are patiently sitting in the background and waiting for Mr 5m and bored UK pi to lower their bids. But at the end of the day most shares get bought, which is what matters.

Putting a target and a deadline to the sp makes little sense unless you need the cash soon. We might not reach it or we can overshoot it by a multiple.

Right now the question is whether they will get grants or/and need to rise and how much. One way or the other, by the end of the year that question will be answered, so the real question will be how long to go before the next fruit to catch.

Not going to steal llama's job of listing them.

A bit of approximate math:

since Tuesday last week we had roughly 130mm buys vs 150m sells. The net selling is only about 20m, but the sp went from 0.25 - 0.25 on Tuesday morning to 0.26-0.28 on Wednesday peak to 0.21-0.22 of today. Somebody is getting these shares cheaply .

Agree. He basically picks a list of stocks that moved up and says they could move further up, just because...

5m sell blocks occurred also at 0.21 0.22 levels. Not sure there could be repurchased at profit... But certainly the current level seems holding decently.

Ho covgaz, it was a hi. :) I am afraid we we will keep 2 step forward and 2 backwards until they clarify their funding need. I am bullish here, but only long term. But be happy that Mr. 5m is taking a break, and maybe the yankee cavalry is on the way ...

Ho covgaz, there is an easy way to see the sp going up: start buying relentlessly, and you will see :)

You can agree that someone buying £10000 worth of orr now, is roughly buying 0.06% of the company, regardless how many shares he is getting? That is it.

It also matters who is holding the shares, and whether is willing to hold for a long term rerate or flip for a quick 10% profit. The biggest problem with orr is that the amount of shares are in the hand of the second category pots a constant cap. However constant flow of good news attracting new buyers could eventually reverse that.

I think the bottom line here is that this is a very good business regardless of a possible placing. Remember they don't need to fund expensive trials. They need to let things mature and negotiate from a strength position. So it is about managing expectations, not fears.

1. Many things can happen before year end. For example first package of wuxi data and IND-enabling. Can one rule out a licensing of 002 before year end?

2. Even then, not all placing are born equal. UK PIs might not see a single share, with the entire tranche likely going to US Cornerstone Investors.

I think llama means that a tactical sell or wait to get a better price at this point is likely going to end up remaining out of the business later on. The drop is on such small volume that it can be quickly reverted in the moment someone decides to get in with decent volume. £100k from overseas can take the sp back to the thirties. Another couple one to the fifties...

One will not get 50m shares at this price. The first 10m first.

The question is whether the BOD is doing what they are supposed to do. To me the answer is yes, and they are ticking all the boxes except magic. Placing fears are exagerated imo. Not saying they won't need by end of the year, but the amount they need is just enough to cover admin costs and let the pipeline advance with grant funding. So if we accept a timeline of 1 to 2 years, this week price action is not relevant.

It would be the right time for WTR to let som US investor know that we have roughtly 60m shares on offer at discount right now...
