You point is emphasised & validated by the inflated cost & over runs in the big projects ie Ajax vehicle, frequent breakdown of the carriers & Germay/France unable to agree a fighter project after months of bickering. Ukraine has shown big, vanity projects are no longer the way forward with fast, nimble & cost effective equipment the present & future.

Also, let's not forget cyber attacks against infrastructure & business. Attack on JLR & others proved that defences have to built.

Don't think anyone expect SP at these levels again. My 1st buy Aug 25, it was rising to .3 & was told lucky to get in at that price, dropped in 24hrs & bought at .25 average.

It's all about patience, awaiting news. IMO, it would be very coincidental if any news dropped around AGM.

Paul1828, you're right there's alot of news due we're all waiting on. When it does, let's hope the execution & delivery are swift as too much delay & inaction, especially DIP has resulted in some sme defence companies closing ie Aeralis developing a new modular aircraft are now in receivership. Means UK cannot even build a complete plane without a JV. Yet Sweden & Turkey can.

Hopefully Ukraine's experience will concentrate the will to be lean, mean & move fast. 5 years is too long in the new World we now live in.

Nick/Para. A good end to your litle spat. We are all getting rather frustrated at what is a dearth of 'news'. Q1 was heavily promoted in interviews with McCarthy that it would be news heavy, implying a positive on the SP. Also no word from our new man, now a month+ in.

I'm also alittle suspicious of companies that have no investor contact on their website & use the secrecy excuse.

Hopefully news IS forthcoming, but patience is running thin.

I'm probably totally wrong, but with sales to buys 15m to 8m & a very small volume, I think todays notice of a very high profile mtg mm's are playing this to get in even lower for the BIG increase shortly.

Anyone buying to get a large position would be buying millions x 10, as I would if funds avbl.

@Ex. Excellent posts. I'd disagree with last points in last post "a Strategic UK Asset." & being acquired by Lockheed or Bae. The former negates strategic & sovereign asset. HMG by now should have realised certain UK companies ie RR & Bae are best kept UK assets & as France has, be treated as National Champions.

From their drug pipeline, 2 patents, unique drugs addressing an untapped but vital & growing market, I'm thinking 15-25p, 10p very achievable. At a push 30p. Peers with similar but smaller pipeline are at 9/10p.

“We are committed to strengthening national security by scaling British SMEs and start-ups which help keep UK’s defence industry at the cutting edge of innovation,” Mr Pollard said.

“Last year we backed SatVu with a defence innovation loan, which has already helped spark £30 million further private investment through this funding round.”

We're all hoping here that something similar is announce by Alrt. 6 weeks to go for bod to deliver on their self proclaimed Q1 news rich period. If not, I'm out to other possibles.

But consider, Portugal has suffered horrendously from Storm Kristin & 4 storms in quick succession; I live in the Central region, the epicentre of it all. The gov & populace have more important things to do than move apace with this project. It will happen when it happens.

@BlueBoy25. Well corrected, as I couldn’t see a force the size of W. Midlands Police banning AI. It’s their own incompetence & local politics that got them in that mess. AI should be a huge help to all the forces, releasing officers to do the real police work.

Glos trial could be the stepping stone to a far greater rollout.
