Personally i'd hoped the s.p. had tanked as wanted to add, doesn't mean i'd be disingenious about it though.
"The Board legally could not tell retail investors the exact details of why they needed this headroom before today. Under UK market abuse regulations, if a company is negotiating a massive corporate partnership, an institutional funding round, or a major grant with NIDA/NIAAA, that information is strictly classified as Inside Information. They cannot hint at it in an AGM notice. They have to pass the structural resolutions first, and then release the official RNS announcement detailing the deal. Next week perhaps?
