Article in the Times today on the end of cheap money on the closing of the Bank of England's scheme to help lenders. Mortgage rate hikes inevitable. This is bad timing for Tw share price . I'm wondering if this is what has been holding the price down

I don't know about the rest of the country but there are 10 sites within 20 mins of Worcester currently selling or just about to. From memory I can't remember so many trading in this area before and are selling. One reason could be the demographic shift out of Birmingham and the Black country

From what I can see most of the exploration hot spots of Suriname oil fields are 150km offshore, can't see this being our target. The main oilfield onshore Tambaredjo is run by the state oil company since 1980 and produces 16-21 API oil, that's seems to be a heavy oil grade. Columbia seems too risky with Marxists groups blowing up pipe lines I'm not sure if that is still currently happening. Pros with T&T - stable government, higher grade oil, onshore. Imho we better off where we are but hope to be proved wrong

Suriname is an exploration hotspot according to the US geographical society. Exxon have found 2bn barrels of reserves off shore, Statoil are also there. The government company controlling the industry is called Staatsolie and they are currently working with American companies onshore such as Apache Corporation. Let's hope CERP gets a look in esp with LK being able to communicate in his own language

Hi Trent The x divi date last year was 24th May and paid 2.7p 4th Jul. We must be due a declaration this week, leaving it late. Also should we be expecting an update on the Charles Wells acquisition anniversary or will they leave it to the July update

Quite agree about the tax being out of date lets hope Khan does something about it

Sat on my terrace ( wife calls it a patio:)) with a glass of wine reading the Worcester news and found an article on Tw being refused planning permission in Kempsey near Worcester on 131 houses near the river Severn. The councillors were minded to accept but felt there were too many houses. From experience I believe developers overload the applications knowing they won't get through to get back to what they really want to achieve. As an observation the other site in Kempsey Tw have has just put a sign up sold out. It's a big site not been going long. Also on the way to my sons house in Swindon the huge site that I'm not keen on the design( looks like a 1950s council estate imho) has now got a bus route going through it , has grown so quickly. Thank heaven's for a great planning office in Worcester ATB:)) ( I'll shut up now)

Just read an article in the Trinidad guardian about the new energy minister F Khan speaking at the launch of a new initiative. Mainly about Shell and BP but I wondered whether LK was there. Change in the tax laws mentioned

In the broker Q&Athey did hint at continuing the same policy but stated that the policy for the next few years would be announced at the CMD

1st Aug last year Tw announced the confirmation of the dividend policy for the coming year which was from the Capital market day presentation in late May. Will the CMD announcement this May give similar news to last year. Would be a great help to get the share price to the latest broker forecast of £3.00

It's a young team ,chairman is Lansdowne from H&L he wants success. Bristol rugby is owned by him can't see them being relegated next season could be here at Worcester that go down that will be a shame great ground. I've seen men carrying 4 litres each to drink each half. The brewery must make a few bob every match, it's not marstons though it GK. If the weather is good this summer there will be good profits to be made ATB:))

Hi HH. Going back to last year the sp was bouncing under 200 then shot up just before x divi date and went down to 175. I've a feeling it may not do that this year with investors knowing what might happen. Take a look at my other investment NAHL paying 10.66 went from 1.22 to 1.34 sell price before x divi then dropped to 1.28 ish. MMs may not rise it much more but not drop it as much. This is my opinion but what do I know ATB:))

That was quite a detailed history of LK. Reading between the lines why would anyone/company invest millions in an assistant driller to run an oilfield in the north sea. They must have seen what we all can see in this man, very capable in given you a big profit. ATB :))

Warning off topic :)) I went to a great auction in Tewkesbury last night if you were starting up a building company it wouldn't have cost a lot. achainsaw £8, six foot high chrome towel rail same price, circular bench saw £25, half inch router £8, wheel barrow £3, petrol trimmers 8 It wasn't like Serrells auction this was packed I'll shut up now
