The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
the dates he has shown are the dates the poster will need to settle his payment for the shares, (settlement dates) so in effect he has the shares but will pay for them when he sells them, the dates shown are the deadlines
@sixthavenue,
unless you can provide a link to show that vast amount of shares alloyed to Gerard as you are intimating you are deliberately trying to mislead and un-settle share holders in my opinion
Either that or you are crap at maths or something
@ Porky,
I have my doubts, but at the end of the day we will have to wait and see,
it may be that the delay has been because the funding is far bigger than we all first anticipated, but we will no doubt find out in due course one way or the other
I think the tweet is someone trying to make a quick gain, just my opinion,
I doubt we will hear via a tweet from some unknown person before we would hear through the official channels, they have been so secure with information so far so i wouldn't expect it to change.
Only time will tell
i'm not in 4D, however it can't be nice for the people that are, no one waants to see investors lose their money if it turns out for the worst.
I've lost in other shares when they've gone pop and its not nice. I wouldn't wish that on anyone personally
i've got cash waiting to add as soon as there is some clarity on the future direction, at the moment its a little confused and the BOD don't seem to be in control of things which is a little disappointing considering we should have had a "blockbuster year"
That said, it will recover one way or another and i'm not selling any of my holding
Can we please keep this about Val, everyone has a different agenda here, I get that, some are day traders trying to get in low, some of us are longer term holders and are happy to wait, referencing failures of other shares and giving people grief over them should be avoided, let’s face it, we’ve all had shares that do week and we’ve all had shares that haven’t from time to time, and no one like it when things don’t go as planned,
We should not have dogs at individuals for their positives or negatives on other shares,
That said I see no reason we should call people out for their intentions with regards to Val
People losing a lot of money is nothing to gloat about, it can happen to anyone on the AIM
Have a great evening
so the bad news is out of the way, and to be fair the share price has held up well because non of us loyal shareholders are going to sell,
I would just do a raise to secure funding for the remainder of this financial year, and then spend the time securing the finances for the LAB, whether that be through a raise or other means.
Remember raising funds for a lab would not necessarily be a dilution in the same way as raising fund s to continue trading would be. The raise would be used to add value to the company in the form of an asset and by association would ordinarily be reflected in an increased market capitalisation following the raise and purchase. (possible leaving the share price in a similar position to prior purchasing the lab). ie more shares but a higher MC.
just my opinion, this is the difference between raising for day to day costs (dilution of value) and raising for assets (increase MC)
Yep, found it now, and as someone else posted it’s identiacal to last years, they didn’t use it last year so maybe someone causing doubt,
I reckon I need to get my conkers out and challenge to meet the doubter lol
OB,
That’s fine but I can’t find it on their website under any of the links
I have 1% of the company in shares and I can’t find this important info on an official document or link direct from the website which concerns me
