Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
@nom
This is word for word as last years rns apart from the date, are you sure you have not edited the date a I can’t find this on their website, and as a large shareholder o haven’t received any such notification
Just asking
The latest RNS does not yet tell us anything we do not already know, there’s nothing new, it has to be produced due to procedural rules
Going into this financial year we had funds to see us through until H2, so today is the same as yesterday, and tomorrow we are in the same place as we are today (it was in the Cenkos reports
Tomorrow and over the next few weeks we will see the deal confirmed and the companies financial future secured (this is my opinion)
This is why I am invested in Val for the long term
Have a great evening
OB
I too have no intention of selling a single share, I may even add a few more once there is a little more certainty and the strategy is proven.
I’m looking forward to the next few years of growth before I retire
it may be that they will be all tied in together, the deal announcement and the accounts, possible justification for me saying this is that there is no reason not to release the trading accounts and AGM details for any other reason. we all know what the status of the companies finances are, these have never been in question, so to not release the final details would indicate they are close to the deal going through, otherwise why delay them - this is just my opinion as a share holder ( i could be right or wrong, who knows)
BP, thanks for the reply, and yep, some people were left high and dry, however slating the board in public is not going to help the price increase, (one day possible as high as before) and will only have a negative effect.
and as with every forum, anyone can type and say anything they want under a name where you can't be identified and too many times people just outright lie about their holdings and intentions to suit their agenda's,
like I've said, I've/we've seen it all before,
sometimes people's stories are genuine but unfortunately a lot of the time they are outright lies which tarnish's the genuine holders
All I see here are posts from individuals who I have never seen post here before suddenly slating the company, and of course, having seen this strategy many times before it can only mean one thing,
a massive de-ramp, get in at as low a price as they can and then pump the hell out of it with a different user name and sell out,
a typical de-ramp, then pump and dump.
you can see this a mile off every time there is news due
It's quite simple really, if you don't have faith in what the BOD are doing then just sell up and move on, that is of course if you actually have any shares in VAL at all.
have a great day and weekend everyone, next week will be a great week
@Porky
Average costs for clinical trials
Phase 1 - $4m
Phase 2 - $13m
Phase 3 - $20m
The chart on the link gives slightly more detail based on area https://www.sofpromed.com/how-much-does-a-clinical-trial-cost
@ Porky
Let's wave a magic wand and assume they acquire or kit out own lab - we don't have a magic wand
Does anyone know if they have the skill sets to continue working on 201 without TRX to go it alone and position it themselves for the next phase of trials? - VAL do have the skill set as they have/are being instrumental in assessing the vendors for the trials, the issue is funding the clinical trials.
The Lab would not be to enable VAL to carry out their assessments on future opportunities in house rather than outsourcing as they currently do, and in addition charge others for their services creating a revenue stream.
Apart from cash do the Americans bring much else to the party? Anyone know? - for this we will have to wait and see what else they bring to the table when the sub license has been completed.
@PM
if they need more time they would have to RNS it as soon as they determine that to be the case,
the last two deadlines i was sceptical as i have been involved with funding previously (not on aim) and it can take an absolute age to finalise, i am a little more confident with this current deadline,
Either way i have no intention of selling anything, in fact once there is some clarity going forward i am likely to add to my holding
good luck all
The SP really depends on what else is contained within the announcement of the deal being signed, ie: we know that VAL have been contracted to work with THX since November to help set up the clinical trials, so if the deal is announced along with the details of the trial and that it’s about to start along with numbers etc then the SP could go anywhere
If it’s just the deal that’s announced then my best guess would be approx 50-60p,
That will suit some and not others, but it is only my humble opinion, either way I am not selling as want to see this through for a few years,
