Science Sprt Share Price (SIS)

Well well well. I expected the funds on Monday and they arrive on Friday. I waited 13 years for this exit, longer than I held any other stock because I knew people who were there at the start and I expected the rewards to be much more after that long long wait. Could have been sold for double the amount in 2020 but I, like others, felt the Board of SiS would grow some nuts and dispose of Mr Moon earlier. They never did because ....well you have to work with him to know that. I also underestimated the new teams willingness to throw the older shareholders under the bus in their haste to get rich. A valuable lesson learnt. I am going to spend the cash on something very frivolous and save just enough to buy a bottle of fizz for when Moony gets his final P45.

Well the new management says it will have to invest significantly to take this business to the next level of profitability and that this would be more easily done as a private company. I urge you all to watch that story with interest. I don't believe for one minute that they will do that. They will flip this business for a significant multiple of the £80M in a short period of time without much effort at all and they will do it on the backs of the long-term investors who built the SiS infrastructure over time. Just watch this space and watch the principle players enrich themselves. Keep a legal eye on what they do because there may be some recourse in the future if they do it with undue haste. I guess I now hope that SiS will fail and that another unplanned scenario like the Covid pandemic will teach them a good lesson. Next time they hit a tough spell they cannot simply turn to the AIM shareholders for just one more loan !

Naturally very sorry to all of you that have caught a cold over SIS - its a despicable way for the BidCo people to conduct themselves and here's hoping that it catches up with them at some point.......

Whilst I acknowledge the grave reservations about investing in AIM I still remain invested with Provexis after 13+ years having added throughout the years to bring down my average, so here's hoping that any others here that have retained the PXS interest may be rewarded through that, as it seems to be heading to some form of resolution / break out in the not too distant (fingers crossed it does and also its not a stitch up like SIS!)

I had this for a few years.

It was a dog for me. Bought over 60p on average and sold eventually, last year I think, for less than 20p.

The takeover from a competitor never came. The sales grew but never enough to make consistent pre-tax profits.

It was promise promise promise.

And with it all - the CEO kept getting rewarded.

Was a good lesson to not hang on in there.

(I have an aversion to AIM ever since because the governance just isnt there).

All a bit sordid, and a warning to investors that bigger money almost always wins.
