no surprise the bulk of revolution bars has been shut.

Notice Peach Pubs has been bought by a newly created company called Coral Pub Company. As this is a good asset and performing quite well i wonder if there were any 'mates rates' deals done in the background. Chairman Luke Johnson must have loads of contacts.

Wouldn't be surprised if CEO gets a job running them - failure often gets rewarded.

In 2022 with bonuses he earned over £1m and despite terrible 23 and 24 performance still earned £610k and £454k respectively. Ridiculous.

He used all the placing money during covid to upgrade loads of revolution bars despite many being under performers and there were clear signs that the younger age target market were drinking less etc.

He then used the overdraft to fund the Peach pub purchase just when interest rates were high. Madness. It should have been an all share offer or we should have walked away.

To then blame govt policy for the problems is pathetic , as are people like Escape who believe it. Costs go up every year - it's inflation, and many of the supposed increases are merely covid business rate reductions being phased out.
