actually the news coming out of MCG has been pretty dire. These is little to bet on other than the cycle must turn , but its staying at the bottom for a long time

no news means no rise is sustained . The share price movement is based on forecasts of macroeconomic trends which are continuously evolving - the consensus has changed quite a lot over the past 12 months you must admit . So investors and shorters work on that basis - in retrospect the shorters are always quite logical

Anyway Hindy you have been predicting double dip bottoms for quite some time . I don't think technical analysis works in all circumstances -it has to have a stable macro environment to make sense.

Anyway new macro - Perhaps a new labour government will be good for buses and coaches in the UK.. I think the Tories were unable to take on the unions

I think it rose to 93 before Xmas when it was thought there would be multiple US rate cuts this year after positive data from November last year.

Then last week when the UK cpi was slightly hotter, seemed to kick-start a retrace.

It's hugely frustrating when we're so prone to such wild swings on economic data instead of company fundamentals.

We’ve only been down here once before

most of the time it’s been trending down

We are currently out of the downward channel

At the minute it’s put in a double bottom and currently making a higher a low (if they hold )

The only time it’s done anything remotely close to this is 2020 put it on weekly and go look

Mobico is about get deleted from ftse250 and I guess join ftse small caps. I know it’s not a surprise to anyone but the confirmation has just been released.
