Far too slow

The unquoted open-ended JPM vehicles (80%+ of assets) have quarterly redemptions, exact details of which I don't know, but that likely means that we won't see cash from those until the New Year. I'm sure that we will end up with a liquidation as no other IT would want to take on the underlying assets of JARA, but there may well be options provided for investors as to what they want to do with the cash i.e. have it returned to them or be provided with the opportunity to roll it into another IT, which might be an attractive option for some IIs. I presume this would be into either another JPM IT or another infrastructure / real assets vehicle not managed by JPM.

In the meantime the still relatively wide discount and divi means that we're being paid to wait, albeit with NAV risk.

Great question. Their petition vote for continuation failed - so the decent thing would be to liquidate everything over the next few months and retrun capital to shareholders.

BUT... They are now being weasels and discussing what to do - including restructuring, partial sales etc etc

Which is ***** IMHO. They had a clear instruction - 'do not continue' - and here we find ourselves still unsure what the future holds.

This fund is small - it isn't big enough to continue in it's present or future smaller form - so do the decent things and put the shareholders out of their misery. Stop clinging onto straws to stop yourself sinking.

The assets are not easy to offload and this will take time, we get that. Just get on with it FFS.
