AJ Bell got back to me to say there'll be no online trading until a KID is published - suspect other platforms will be in the same position - tho i can't recall what the precise regs are surrounding these documents or why telephone trading is supported. No idea why HL are trading online, though their quotes page links to the SSIT KID - i don't use them that much but if I i did i might just let that sleeping dog lie :)

Ii will only let you buy by telephone (at online cost) -- I have asked them when will online trading fixed?

Anyone else struggling to buy on ii? I hold 400 [IPO]but won't let me buy anymore as unable to download key documents

Hi Forensic. You are more informed than I am and have almost certainly been doing this for longer, but I have to disagree with your 'obvious arbitrage'. The SSIC have a very easily calculated NAV - a few purchases made very recently but mainly cash to value. SSIT by contrast has several years of performance and some very successful punts have been made. Those companies have rising but unstated current NAV so the instantaneous SSIT NAV is higher than we think, hence the 'premium' is not as big as we perceive. And suppose SSIC decide to buy heavily into a company (eg ICEye) that SSIT is already in it will simply push up demand for an SSIT vehicle and likely the price.

So I see SSIT as my preferred option. Especially since the launch of SSIC it is up approx 3% while SSIT is +10% in same period.

Each to their own and I hope we all benefit from the rising tide of the space sector.

Hargreaves Lansdown is trading SSIC and SSIT smoothly.

At least for the next 6 months I see a conversion between the two happening. They are obviously in the exact same investment "space" and will even be investing in some of the same companies. Therefore the SSIT premium is likely to contract and the current zero premium on SSIC is likely to expand.

A rather obvious arbitrage which (as you can see from the relative price moves in the first couple of days trading of SSIC) is already starting to happen.

Therefore I am strongly positive on SSIC. DYOR.
