As I said there is only so much of a premium that investors are prepared to pay - normally no more than about 2.5% over NAV. SMIF issue new shares on a regular basis due to demand, also at a premium. They also buyback shares via tenders, at a discount.

Next dividend declared at 0.5p payable 8th June.

Ex div 21/5

I suspect any new shares are issued at 'market price' , this is not dilution.

Don't forget they recently bought a number of shares back at a 2% discount to market price.

I can't see anything to worry about ?

Sorry but I don't get this. Surely a market is simply controlled by supply and demand? If the demand continues to rise and the supply doesn't then logically the premium rises in step? Anyway as a LTH here, won't this new issue of Ordinary shares just devalue the SP? In which case I must vote against it.
