Princes Group Share Price (PRN)

Princes Group is now my biggest holding hoping for a big announcement tomorrow or in the next week as the new CEO is taking over from the 1st July . They mentioned they were on the verge of an acquisition at the last trading update so fingers crossed !!

The valuation of this company is criminal .

Don’t sell , this company will eventually give good returns , I worked for Princes soft drinks for 15 years and they supply all the big supermarkets with own label drinks in my opinion the drinks side of the business is worth £3.50 a share on it’s own . Once the price goes up Sipps will go away .

Things are starting to settle down now with the share price finding some support I would imagine most of the selling has been unhappy share holders who bought in early which is totally understandable . The tech story is starting to wobble just as it did in the dotcom bubble and investors will be looking for some solid undervalued companies making decent profits . I was told by the company that the buybacks would commence once the selling has subsided so we should hopefully be in for some positive action .

This is true Sipps, price is back below my sale. I read your posts very carefully at the time which is why I decided to sell as if the risks you flagged do come to pass, then I will very grateful to have got out when I did. Time will tell, I certainly don't like the vast majority ownership position.

They have £25 million to spend on buybacks which they haven’t used yet my gut feeling is they will wait till one of the acquisitions they have been assessing is ready to be announced which should produce a 10/15% jump in the share price then launch the share buybacks to drive up the share price so we shouldn’t have too long to wait for some fireworks and this ridiculous share price to start reflecting just what a profitable company this is .
