It’s difficult to fathom why after a selection process (both parties establishing their respective “fit”) & the short tenure to the “failed placing”, that blame could be apportioned to the new CFO. It (the placing”) would have been in the pipeline. A new strategy (not disclosed at time of appointment) with dynamic repercussions on your future role though may influence your decision to resign.

My favourite was
If you’re not a socialist at 20 you don’t have a heart, if you’re a socialist at 40 you don’t have a brain … or something along those lines
Down half a penny on supposedly terrible news, a big mess or simply part of a process…. I guess we’ll know soon enough 4 months til AGM
I can't think why, but Churchill's comment about the Labour Party keeps coming to mind: "They are not fit to run a whelk stall".
Oh gosh red not AGAIN!
So Redknight can't comment further but his speculation is absolutely correct.
What speculation is that.
Is it the one that says Solgold cannot raise the money to construct Alpala.
Is it Solgold can raise the money to construct Alpala.
Is it we are going to production.
Is it we are going to receive a bid.
Is it we are going to JV.
Is it we are not going to JV.
The point is Redknight you have held all these positions and more.
So which position are you absolutely correct about and not saying anything further.
You may fool most people on here, but I am not most people.
Sold 200k...
Todays action may well stimulate a bid but I believe it definitely points to a cash raise...
So hedging my bets and leaving firepower for an equity raise...
Me 400k; Mrs 200k...stick for now...
Morning Red.
A sale by December does not mean 'he's looking after his own interests' - but all our interests (except Quads).
The business is going from explorer to miner (under the eventual ownership of a 3rd party) and yes, there needs to be a big change in personnel and yes, feathers will get ruffled.
From where I am standing all is looking fine & dandy.
Frankly that would not surprise me. Hes not looking after our interests hes looking after his own but that means a sale by December...
Red, if you suspect that there has been some disagreement between CEO and CFO, I wonder if Nick was behind Darryl's thinking? Seems strange to lose two key finance people in quick succession.
a car crash! even .35 would be welcome then.
I cannot comment further but my speculation is absolutely correct.
More when I can..
SOLG is a car crash and now would be the time for BHP or anyone to bud...
you only hurt each other low volume bought and sold none of you have a clue what is going on just good imaginations get a grip .
BBG: Perhaps we have some litigation to look forward to, from the departed CFO, on top of everything else.
I would be interested to know what, if any, share options she was able to negotiate.
Thank you damers, now hopefully an official announcement from Solgold or even better a webinar with a decent question and answer session.
LinkedIn reply from Keith Pollocks......
'looking forward to being part of delivering good outcomes for all stakeholders'
So many derampers around at the moment - lth no full well who is playing games here
If Saridas is in fact a bad egg, best to get the broom out.
She is suing her last employer (Oil Search) where she spent a mere four months.
This has nothing to do with fund raising
Ayten appointed AFTER Darryl. He must have approved her appointment.
I suspect this is all about pointing the finger at Ingo and Aytenvfir the funding bungle, when I'm increasingly sure that it was Darryls fault.
You dont sack the CFO just because a funding failed, but you do if you want to point a finger and you're the CEO.
I agree Bozi, this at last is something worth discussing. The company now has to put some meat on the bone.
We know that we have a change of direction. We know certain people have gone, or have seemingly less responsibility. However I believe that NM with his shareholder position has always been key in this.
Agreed Ship
Irwin and other quiet!!
The plus side is the new cfo is already in and comes with a good reputation too.
Design not incompetence
Red isn't that what a Bhp stooge would do.
Did Nick have some influence in getting Ayten through the door?
To many unanswered questions but I agree Ayten leaving g like this is strange to say the least.
"But finally, and this is the biggest indictment of this mess, our CFO lasts all of 6 weeks. 6 weeks."
Can't get away from that.
Only have a small trade left so I'll just leave it in and probably top up in the teens.
