“The work of the #GovernmentDelEncuentro does not stop.
Today I met with representatives of the company Mitsui & Co. Ltd., who expressed their interest in investing in the world-class Cascabel mining project, whose concessionaire is @SolGoldEc.

Nice Sire
Quady - VRS is well known in AIM circles as a darling turned dog. Many 'investors' did well out of the run a few years ago but the company lost a lot of trust for various reasons and so it has been bombed out since.
Not one I'd feel comofrtable advertising to other investors if I'm being honest. Good luck though.
Red, thank you for putting so much thought into this entire scenario. It's fascinating and one cannot say that it is not possible, however it would be extremely complex and lengthy to orchestrate, it assumes that NCM is just sitting there waiting to be bought by BHP, and in a time frame where SOLG still need to resolve the lack of funds. So IMHO the mechanics of your suggested plan don't come together in reality as you probably have them pictured in your mind.
Also, we would still need to rely on another bid coming in in from somewhere to trigger the price war that brings us to the £1 you suggest. To date there is no indication that there is another bidder in the wings.
Nonetheless, we can dream!
Quady, I will take a look at VRS, not normally my bag, both the sector and the time before a decent payout, but I will do some research nonetheless.
Orthern, I invested in KAV at 2.9p and sold it for around 5p. I am probably going to dip back in early November after they finish drilling what is their most promising license area. The current boss Ben Turney is a bit of a chancer and the moving on of Mike Moles hasn't filled me with much confidence, but think it looks good for a trade (providing they actually find something!). I would consider properly investing for the longer term once Ben goes (I think his days are relatively numbered personally). I know Bozi was and I think still is invested there.
For a 2-3 year hold I am in pretty deep in GGP. The BB is a bit of a nightmare as it has such a huge retail following and bickering worse than here, but management are top drawer and the asset is golden. Us SOLGers will have to find something a little more niche I think.
Nothing solid Med just JV or takeover is more likely than Solgold taking it to production. No time scale, no thoughts on who. Sorry
RK, BHP do not describe themselves as gold miners and it does not form part of their strategic ambitions. I don't know how they'll deal with gold at Cascabel , maybe we come back to the jv with NCM? I'm sure there're other companies that BHP have their sights on other than NCM.
Ship …. I’ve thought that for some time now ( as everyone knows lol ) I think however this pans out the end is not far away
thanks Shipright. Any views on the likelihood of a TO?
I'm all ears Sharket if you have any genuine suggestions...... If there is a payout here it wont be anywhere around £1.
Think ill go safe after this.... Long term... I can see the Chinese economy going pop with its own credit crunch, based around its soon to be, imploding property market... and if that happens there is no country to ride to the rescue to bail it out.. and miners could be well out of favour.. banks too.. I dont want to be sat holding anything when that finally happens.
You may well be right Shipright.
I do however still believe it's the most likely course at the moment.
SharketMare I have just the stock.
I am invested in it and building a position.
Like Solgold it's risky but the upside is huge.
Reckon they are ten years away from the serious money.
The downside is they are unknown and have very little funding.
It's ticker is VRS.
I have recently talked to an ex, high up employee who is now more able to be candid and they do not think solg will take this to production.
Orthern … lol
Orthern, I think we should take a BB vote on which stock to buy after SOLG gets bought out. Preferably one with a BOD as opaque as the current lot so we can sit around arguing about what's going on few another few years.
He must think its a a fuc_ing madhouse
Wow!
I have reason to believe that the journo I referred to earlier is following this Board...
I think Slug is trying to beat his record for the number of times to be removed in one day.
Personally I think he might achieve it.
