No, I said probably. Maybe.. who knows
I'm still at a bit of a loss about what novacyts marketing strategy is. After a bit of digging their marketing team aren't newbies and look well seasoned. I know I keep banging on about biomedical scientist mag, but there must be a reason they have chosen not to advertise in it, why I'm not quite sure but I know, they know about it.
So, I'm left a little confused, I've not got a marketing background per se and I don't know whats going on behind the scenes, tbh none of us do.
I still think they have missed opportunities in key markets but wtf do I know.
Let's see what the new year brings.
Wishing all legit holders a peaceful and happy Christmas and a prosperous New year (lol)
Take care everyone, its only money...
So PI100 are you saying the BOD deliberately mislead the PI by setting up LTIP that they cannot achieve ?
That post was dated 8th June 2020 - talk about getting wound up over nothing.
The LTIP was just a terrible attempt to appease shareholders. It is an absolute load of nonsense and probably why they award themselves massive pay hikes as they know they’re not achieving it. It may as well be ripped up.
Laughable.
Stopped reading at £1bn revenue. What an absolute load of nonsense.
Hmp ranby...... Intresting one of 3 prisons dismantling 12 million of covid tests.... Expired... dont think so.... Still at £4 a day per worker will not add too much to added costs of disposal....
The government will likely find out that buyer's remorse isn't a legal defense. Not surprised to see this today considering the news surrounding the NHS.
Snouts in the trough has never changed and never will., no matter what political persuasion you are. This is just the latest case to be brought because it fills column inches and takes the heat off whatever today's bad political decision/news is.
Call me a Cynic.....
Brent PPE Medpro is very different from NCYT, it was set up overnight and supplying simple stuff badly and expensively and linked to political favours. BUT, not to say they weren't all on the same list, but hoping NCYT was much further down.
Interesting thread, blast from the past, an interesting read, that kid's posting history is impressive they write essays
The Medpro situation is the current high profile newspaper chasing case.
The Michelle Mone situation has brought this one to prominence.
Tomorrow's Fish & Chip wrappers.
Interesting extract from BBC website about the latest Government go at Covid suppliers. Looks like they are picking over all contracts to try and wriggle out of paying, not just Novacyt.
A Department of Health and Social Care spokesperson said: "We can confirm that we have commenced legal proceedings in the High Court against PPE Medpro Limited for breach of contract regarding gowns delivered under a contract dated 26 June 2020.
"We do not comment on matters that are the subject of ongoing legal proceedings."
The government has previously described the PPE Medpro medical gowns deal as an "underperforming" contract.
In a statement, the company said it was clear by the end of 2020 that the government had "vastly over-ordered" PPE and would never be able to use it all.
It said consultants had been brought in to "pick over all the contracts" on "technicalities".
Will the ltip still be relevant? Or can a new Ceo create new goalposts?
2024 will be the year we get a few M&A , dispute with DHSC suddenly all sorted in favour of Novacyt , and an increase in revenue . This will support the LTIP and directors will fill their pockets up with free shares . This is just the way it is I am afraid on AIM. The BOD wont do anything unless it suits them , The care not about PI .
Well it's all going swimmingly there. Good luck to western countries trying to get hold of pharmaceuticals and diagnostics in the new year. My advice would be don't get ill this winter.

A pi whose comments lack substance, are shallow , exhibit a total lack of comprehension about their supposed investment. Awarded full marks for tenacity , could write the handbook 1001 ways to make derisory comments about a stock. However they are correct about the abysmal performance since the announcement of the dispute. The company have done nothing, zero , to support the share price and the result of that is we all get ro enjoy her daily presence here. How very delightful. :) :) :)
PI100 doesn’t hold any shares here , he used to post as PI101 in excactly the same deramping style, he’s a sad case shorter
trotters - no, i am a PI with a current loss of 83% so yes I am incredibly bitter at this utterly woefully run company.
pi- Did you work for Novacyt in a previous life and are just looking to cause as much trouble as possible as a bitter ex employee?
HMG trying to cover its backside, alleging Medpro underperformed.
Medpro to contests vigorously on the grounds that it supplied to contract and it was clear the government had vastly over ordered.
Are things finally starting to unravel for HMG ? Or are Medpro and Mone in trouble ?
Could this be good or bad for NCYT - any thoughts ?
The BOD will not achieve their LTIP if they do not get this SP to reach the targets set . Therefore every reason why the BOD will want to get this SP shooting up in 2024 . They wont get anything if they start to ramp up the share now and also during 2023 . My thoughts are 2024 is going to be the year that we start seeing the SP going up .
p100...i have to disagree.
there will be court case costs to consider as well as disclosure of information which may want to be avoided.
it is a significant amount - something which the gov will want to be seen as trying to recuperate. the pre court negotiations haven't worked and both parties will hope that the threat of court will be enough to sway things
However the disclosure process is intended to enable all parties to evaluate the strength of their respective cases before trial, with a view ultimately to reducing costs.
at this ;point - one would hope there might be a backdown and compromise
it might go to court - equally it might be called off and a compromise sought.
at the point of typing this, were you on your knees praying for it... ?
#yourareinforashockIthink ! hold holding waiting for the outcome no matter when!
glan - it is likely their intention to put the small caps out of business so they can then just funnel money to their mates' firms and tell us that there are no other options
