Aeschylus ; yes, that's the question that I wanted answering as well. I was surprised that nobody put this forward at the AGM. We badly need to know how far we have advanced with the District permission, given that the committee voted in MATD's favour 9 or 10 weeks ago now. This permission is far more likely to be signed and sealed soon than the SP tripartite agreement, which needs the governor's signature.
Also, the RNS referred to ' government agencies ' in relation to this process. So who are these agencies, and where is it at with them now ?
I'm surprised investor is showing his face here again...seems to have no shame. Worming his way back into the BB as indeed this is what he is. Unfortunately i don't think he is going away anytime soon.
Doc. My question, if you are able to get a response would be something like, "In the near term it appears that Petro Matad's quickest route to production in 2024 is via the a local soum land permit. Shareholders have been made aware that there was a vote in favour of granting a land permit to PM by Matad Soum, but to date we have had no further update or clarification of any requirements or activities post vote. Therefore could you please clarify, what exactly are the remaining steps in the land permit process and if possible an estimate of the time the said process(es) will take, to enable Petro Matad to start work on Heron ?"
This is my second venture in AIM. I first Invested in Aim in VAST, I did very well there and was pleased as at one stage it shot to 9.5p back in may 21. I transferred it all here with an average of 3.22 and This one has been a bit more tricky and it just goes to show how different in management style the two companies are. I must say I do not regret my ride here but it will come to fruition that I have no doubt,
GLA
Aeschylus - if you let me know your question(s) exactly, I will have a go asking Peter Hitchens. Without going into detail, I would expect him to respond should I ask.
Decent conversations & posts most of today and can anyone guess why that is and who isn't on here stirring cr*p up.
More reasons why do not engage with him as he has absolutely NO interest in PM whatsoever
Worth a go I guess Doc. Will do and will report back if any insightful response received.
Quick thought
Think more straight & solution more straight when we look at all info -
- Mata Sum representatives vote in BIG majority to support land access agreement (they already know issues with Petro China)
- Mr Mike Buck say Petrovis iñvolve day to day & this is how Mata Sum get 132 Tonnes of Fuel (21st March)
- Eco group visit Mata Sum 22nd March and my opinion think this just very convenient with disinformation for Mata Sum to try to ask for bit more (remember big majority vote in favour).
- Think all sides understand SSP (probably) happen after election. This still give plenty of time for Drilling Season Operations and we also get confirming that Central Govt can just order local governor. Why do they not now? Election. Will they after? YES!
- This helpnus to understand Mata Sum in favour of Agreement and will look to do this BEFORE Election and this really could be any time 'disinformation' address & Mata Sum satisfy they can or cannot get anything extra. Do not think this conversation takes long now but understand why mr Buck say "do not deserve more"
- I was please with AGM intel feedback & very confident in developing events in Shareholder favour.
*Positive dialogue with protestors also help .

Seems MG discerns the importance of oil production. For me it is a good sign. you might find it interesting: https://zogii.mn/post/7589349. i dont fully understand the full texts with google translation. It seems some corporate tax exemption proposal for investors etc? Maybe relates to PM as well.
Oil production in Mongolia reached about 1.2 million tons in 2015, but in recent years, the amount of oil production has decreased significantly, and in 2023, the amount of oil production reached about 600,000 tons. The oil reserves of the Tamsag and Toson-Uul deposits, where the main oil production is taking place, are expected to decrease to 14.02 million tons, and the annual production volume is expected to decrease from 700.0 thousand to 400.0 thousand tons, which may pose a risk to the stable supply of raw materials when the plant is put into operation.
Point taken Dozzawba, I agree he can be a nuisance (Prof). I also find his arguments are based on very little or no research.
In comparison to WOS , Thor, Cyber Master R&H and some others their intel and research is on a level which very few can surpass.
GLA
Aeschylus - I'm sure MB/investor relations or even Peter Hitchens might reply if asked?
Doc, yes i do agree that we have already done stuff for them and wooed them on field trips and also at the office in Ullanbataar, but you can imagine how these people are. All that previous charm offensive resulted in them voting for PM.
The activists get wind of it and IMO scared the sh*t out of them by spreading malicious and false info which then causes them to hold fire and more delays for us. My question to MB i asked after someone mentioned it on here. Why don't PM actively promote PM as a Mongolian company working for Mongolian people. Put it in PM's company bio, go over the top on this. MB then said they had also had dialogue with the activists which was good. Big PR from PM is needed. How good we are with locals, get locals from other areas to visit Matad etc etc
I think we need to, as just mentioned up our pressure again using Petrovis, (MB not involved directly, just oversee) Mongolian to Mongolian. Even get a meeting with Matad Soum again and the activists. Lets put pressure on the Activists as well. If they then decided to not want to be in a meeting then that would sway Matad locals to go with PM. Also PM to then ensure they do not walk away without that ruddy signature.
Well thats my take on it, Probably bollX but hey ho. Hopefully it will happen soon
Remember, WOS has only been here 5 minutes unlike us LTH's !!!
The missing question from the agm Q&A was, what was meant to happen after the vote 🗳 and what is actually happening.
A missed opportunity to clarify.
Dozzawba - that's a cracking and a very reasonable / objective post sir! - cheers GLA
Aeschylus, playing devil’s advocate, regardless of them voting in favour, we still aren’t able to crack on. Perhaps we needed to allocate our brown paper bag money to somewhere/someone more influential!
And all the wells we've funded, local sports teams we've sponsored and rubbish we've paid to be cleaned up doesn't seem to have worked!
Although all the above could be the very reason why the soum voted in favour of granting the LP.
Dozzawba - I also mentioned immediately after the AGM that MB did well. As much as he annoyed me with the last raise after saying one wouldn't be needed, it's hard not to have sympathy for him having to deal with these idiots.
On the charm offensive, I'd argue we've been trying to do that for a long time now. And all the wells we've funded, local sports teams we've sponsored and rubbish we've paid to be cleaned up doesn't seem to have worked!
Roxy, you can see the number of recommendations to gauge the BB's thoughts on him. Sad individual.
Ref PM as much as i have stated before ref MB and the total lack of communication which does p*ss me off, IMO i think he did well at the AGM and answered a lot of investors questions and i do believe honestly. There were good things that came out of the AGM, NO placing, money until 2025 with the option of the soft loan from Petrovis still there as previously untouched. So cash good. Renewables IMO looking good and one for the future which as MB stated funding is being looked at by Sunsteppe and not looking at PM being used as a dilution of shares. As MB stated all concentration is ON Heron, not Renewables and not new blocks. ALL FOCUS IS ON HERON so we can forget Renewables for now in any arguments on here. it only plays into the hands of certain people on here, who then try to bring placings back into the argument and we know who that is. That's all he has to play on and he has been proved wrong on Heron
With regards Heron personally i believe the Dornod governor is NOW holding out for the election, i believe he was against PM previously due to the PC issues and keeping Activists in line, but now i think he wants elections sorted first.
MB and PM's focus should now totally be charm offensive, persuasion and pressure aimed at the District governor and Matad Soum to get that paperwork signed off. IMO Petrovis should be firmly behind this and work in conjunction will PM in a two pronged attack. Pressure, Pressure & Pressure on Matad Soum. They voted in favour of PM recently so they do know the pluses of PM and exploitation. With regards the "Plan A" land usage and being signed by Matad Soum, IMO this could happen at any time. It might be tomorrow, next week or next month, who knows , none of us on here know. Here's hoping it is very soon for all us genuine investors. GLA
Point well taken; however, unjustiable and ridiculous critisism needs to be countered (the purpose of such counters is not to stop the posts - it's to let everyone on this board know that there is grave disagreement!).
Consequently, I am very glad to see people on this BB like Dozzawba who speak their mind - which helps restore a proper balance. Don't be fooled: the usual suspects don't care about "balance" - that's a lousy excuse.
You get used to Hamm and his changes.
Good to flag up periodically though in case newer visitors might actually think his current views are representative of an honestly held view as opposed to a transient trading position - that he appears to usually call wrong.
Oops.
Dozzawba I don't think you are going to stop Prof or anyone else challenge WOS or Cyber or Thor or anyone else's views for that matter. I do agree with your observations though and I also am frequently concerned about this situation. I think its fair to say that on balance the ones who are regular here and following this BB will be able to make up their own mind.
WOS keep posting, by not posting you are letting other certain posters get what they want as you work against their agenda.
As for saying there is nothing in the Progressive report Prof, there is never anything in your posts, other than criticism of WOS, you are infatuated by him., just because he goes against your narrative.
You have not posting anything of any substance since she starting showing up on here stalking WOS. You linger about at 7am each morning waiting for WOS to post. No WOS post and nothing from you, it's absolutely sad and ridiculous and laughable and you call yourself a professional trader. Laughable and who actually gives a t*ss whether supposedly WOS has made you a load of money on another share, nosy likely more BS and lies.
NO placing and NO ip addresses. Laughable professional trader, joker
Thornogson ; Hamm was telling people on here that ' there is no risk ' to use his exact words, prior to the second to last RNS release. So that was actually before we even knew that the District committee had voted in favour of MATD's land access permission.
People go on about WOS, but at least he brings quite useful information to the table, whereas Hamm has trotted out loads of similar posts for months ; ' get in now guys, we wont see such a cheap price ever again ' or ' I can sell x no of shares with my broker - get in and buy buy buy now guys ' ' don't miss out guys ' ' don't let them take your golden shares cheaply ' etc etc .
I seem to remember that when I first started monitoring this board that Hamm was a huge critic of MB and MATD generally - more like Prof is now. And I notice that after the last RNS and AGM he has changed his tune again, from blatant ramping to outrage about the general situation...
With all respect my views is based on the last RNS. That isn't difficult to find out.
I have in fact added 600k just before the last RNS. I haven't sold any of my shares ever. I have been here for a long time and only Ojay is the one I remember from years ago. My views or any poster will not change the course of share price. What I say is what I believe. Unfortunately MB wouldn't probably get LA this year the way it goes. He needs to make difficult/hard decisions to show that he means business. How difficult is to understand that? Am I ramper or deramper? What does that matter really? I only want MATD success and that depends on Heron production this year.
