T.T. post @ 6.02. 'Symbiosis'; part of the enjoyment I get from this BB, mostly, is the education I derive from it. Stay Safe.
Rio's stuff to the south always looked like an intriguing continuation of Scallywag. I was always amused by drill programmes that drill targets within boundaries but never on them - wouldn't want to give the game away and let the neighbour's know what they have for free .
Unless you are Artemis drilling Apollo....
“ The Inferred Mineral Resource is based on a total of 125 drillholes for a total of 126,643m of drilling as at 26 October 2020.”
Nice one Kieffy.
The initial MRE was delivered on the 10th December (approx 45 days later).
We were told in the last update on the 11th March that all the drilling had been done in the MRE area so will we get an updated figure 45 days later at the end of April?
The only caveat is that they stated they were drilling outside the existing MRE area to increase the inferred resource.
We will know in just over a weeks time. Good luck.
Definitely 100% owned RIO ground - all the Antipa / RIO JV'd ground is further North. Any ground that Antipa had in the Telfer vicinity has been JV'd with NCM in the Wilkie JV agreement.
RIO also own the ground directly to the South of Scallywag as well.

@PQ, PG et al,
Well done spotting the north of Scallywag pad preparations in the most recent Sentinel. The web appears to have mixed thoughts on whether it is on a Rio or Antipa tenement though. I have found conflicting maps online and never had the time to properly work out how to get the Western Australian government mining web portal to provide handy info.
Maybe it's safe to assume it's tight lipped Rio's exploration arm, as a junior explorer is more likely to trumpet their activities from the rooftops in a never ending need to be in the shop window trying to get others to pay for drill programmes.
Patience, just adds to the list of interesting lab results to be looking out for at the end of July.
6 months on next week?
Havieron Inferred Mineral Resource Estimate is reported in accordance with the 2012 edition of the Australasian Code for Reporting of Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves (JORC Code).
The Inferred Mineral Resource is based on a total of 125 drillholes for a total of 126,643m of drilling as at 26 October 2020.
In some ways the huge increase in drilling generally in the Paterson, which will no doubt continue for decades, will also provide a degree of symbiosis for the various companies involved due to the 'sharing' of data.
@ Paddy, the Rio connection is always interesting in my opinion.
Interestingly, I topped up today with a few more GGP, using my Rio dividend to purchase..... All good fun.
You're right, Paddy: too far W for Artemis.
Exciting times!
Q
Righto folks - I can now see the prepared pads that you are talking about and it's about to get even more interesting in the Paterson South because I'm pretty sure that is on the RIO Tinto ground to the North of Scallywag. They received EIS funds towards a drilling campaign at the "budjiedowns" target and that looks right about the spot.
Oooh la la - nothing like a bit of "corporate tensions" to keep things interesting.
GLA - Paddy
All Artemis's prospects seem to be inconveniently close to the edges of their tenements. Thank heaven for Havieron!
Q
Actually, having looked at Artemis's maps I now see that the pads you spotted are actually halfway between their Juno and Apollo targets.
Interesting.
I am quite comfortable with scally type results from any drill hole. This is what exploration is about. Detective work that leads eventually to a resource, but I won't be complaining if the results are better :-))
I am still fond of my idea that the explosives magazine is being relocated W because the resource is heading for it.
:)
It'll be interesting to see what they turn up. Unless they're very lucky I'd expect some Scallywag-style results from there first.
I think you are right PQ.....they are pads. Better image in the false colour spectrum. At least we are now underway.
ATB
JUST HOW BIG IS THIS MONSTER!!!!
I can see those. They look like cleared drill pads ready for drilling. I think it's the Juno target. Good spot!
Q
On the big screen now. Sorry PQ they are to the NW on the large dark dune. Definitely 3 new holes.
ATB
About 9.62km NE of the boxcut on the darker dune PQ.
How far NE are you looking? The Hav boundaries are identifiable on the ground (roughly): to the N the boundary is just S of that big black splodge of a lake, and in the E the boundary is just to the W of the hairpin in the two roads that lead out E from Hav.
Are you talking about the holes N of the dune, though, which are well inside the Hav tenement? There are two new ones there and a perhaps two more cleared pads.
The image comparison from 10 days ago is pretty definitive that there is activity Hydro. Just can't tell on the phone but I suspect it is us.
ATB
Hard to tell if its Artemis or in the Juri JV....need the big screen.
Can anyone tell me if that is new drilling to the NE of HAV? Looks like 3-4 new holes.
