George Frangeskides, Exec-Chair at Alba Mineral Resources, discusses grades at the Clogau Gold Mine

Alba Mineral Resources (AIM:ALBA) is a mineral exploration company working to bring the historic Clogau-St David’s Gold Mine back into commercial production, after a 26-year hiatus.

Executive Chairman, George Frangeskides discusses the Gold sampling results from the Level 4 Llechfraith Target within the Clogau-St David’s Gold mine in North Wales, UK.

George explains that the “exceptionally high grade” samples were taken from the fourth level of the mine, a previously flooded area, which has been historically mined.

George also discusses the plan for Alba’s upcoming activities and provides a detailed timeline for this summer’s planned works.

In this interview with focusIR, investors will also learn:

• Why these results provide increasing confidence of a significant gold discovery

• How Alba will determine whether the area beneath level four is economically viable

• What Frangeskides makes of the company’s progress over the last two years

• The minimum the company hopes to have achieved by the end of 3Q24

Given the sample results are notably high, Frangeskides adds that this “isn’t one or two samples, we’re talking about forty-odd samples. We’ve sent kilos worth of concentrate to the refinery and that has resulted in grams of gold being weighed out and resulting in… back-calculated head grades of 2-4 oz/t.” Frangeskides concludes by saying that “The results today tell us that we’re on to something.”

Reasons to add Alba Mineral Resources to your Watchlist:
