I am inclined to think the 10y EVS deal is with Amazon ....Thursday Night Football
Blackbird PBB /Fox Sports is another separate set up - IMO - using a different EVS Solution
Not fact, but opinion
EVS disclosed a 10yr 'Big Tech contract 2022' win. It is their wording, not mine.
https://www.investegate.co.uk/evs-broadcast-equipment--0n9z-/gnw/evs-q3-2022-business-update/20221117053000H7302/
There are only a few Big Techs: Amazon, Apple, Google, Meta and Microsoft.
So which one is it?
If it is not one of the Big Techs, why did they call it 'Big Tech 2022 contract'? Surely, 'NOT Big Tech 2022 contract' would have been more appropriate?
You seem concerned that Blackbird might be in bed with Apple and MLS...
Is your tripe divulged to try to move the share price?
You seem to be stating opinions dressed as facts. IM is CEO. Who are you exactly?
Is this just more hype to try to move the share price? We need to see a press release on actual deals done to make this move up. Ian should be providing regular information on deals won. The lack of this information feels like they are struggling to close new business. BtW- 10 years deals are terrible. Huge discounts for longer terms are expected by customers and there is no realistic price increase built in for every year. What we need a big short term deals that renew because the product is great. Recurring revenue tech companies are valued on a multiple of Annual Recurring Revenue, not their forward order book beyond a year.
Ian - we need an update on actual deals closed!
The deal is with a Big Tech company.
FOX is not Big Tech, so this deal is not FOX.
Exactly.
FOX aren’t Big Tech.
EVS 10 year contract is with a major U.S broadcaster not technology company.
I think it’s FOX.

Apple are the largest of the Big Techs.
IM said the gold standard broadcaster wasn't revealed at the end of 2022 due to other events, highlighting the football world cup. This suggests to me the big tech deal is football/soccer and the reveal didn't happen, so not to be overshadowed by the world cup.
Prior to this, the PBB deal reveal was 'delayed':

Apparently the gold standard broadcaster should be revealed before NAB. Why? What is commencing this time of year?

While there's no news of any sort, it'll keep dropping.I bought 400k of these, must be 5/6 years ago,at 10p so I'm back to where we started. It all looked so rosy 2/3 years ago.All the investing gurus say it's very important to put a stop loss on one's shares,Michael Walters his sensible advice was ,if a share drops 5% sell half, if it's 10% get rid,but i've not listened, prat.
The share price is drifting down the plug hole on no news.
Well, the bird fan club is pretty quiet. Just nothing happening. But don't worry folks, we're working on it, it's coming, it's coming.... it's all the IP. keep the faith... bird is word...blah..blah.blah. You can only talk a good game for so long and it's been way to long. I must admit that I was taken in by IM's credibility as a front man but there is nothing to back it up and you can only make promises for so long. This and other discussion boards just become techie discussion boards and where the prevalent thought is that if we get in with so and so we'll make a fortune.
I've decided to ditch over the last week or so and plough my funds into a logistics company that one prevalent poster on this board ridiculed me for holding shares in a year or so ago. A company now on the verge of paying a dividend.!! Good Luck.
Live spread narrowed, ready to move up further on higher volume?
At this price. The current market cap is 16 x recurring revenue. Average valuations are around 7 x revenue at the moment. These guys are smart. They pumped the price up, raised more cash at a when the shares was 3 it s what it is now. Big bonuses can continue.
Ripe for a T/O, or to be taken private ?
Looks like we might have finally arrived (fingers crossed)...at the bottom that is.
Sold 45% of my stock when it hit 33 pence a while back...wish I had dumped the lot now.
Looking at the charts...we are now back at pre-pandemic levels; which is broadly in line with most other growth stocks.
Might be a long time before we see the dizzy heights of 33 pence again.
Same.
I’ve been topping up monthly.
When we get confirmation who the first client EVS is rolling out the new product to we will rise sharply.
I believe it’s the client EVS just signed a $50 million deal with, which will be huge for Blackbird.
Certainly no big downside risk at these levels, in my opinion.

DYOR.
Indeed not helping if you look at your portfolio with a drip drop decline, but an opportunity to add few when you can if you happy to hold......
Opportunity I have taken.....
:)
Hi,
We have gone from regular updates on contract wins to silence. And for an AIM company that means a gentle but consistent decline. At best. I know their logic on this but…. Yes an opportunity for more but I’m content with what I’ve got. Come on chaps give us something!!
You will need to learn how it works first.
Over half the volume of today are actually buys at 14.35 and the SP didn’t change yesterday or today, the UT made it think it dropped yesterday and put the price back today. Low volume and no change the last two days
Good News. 7 sales. 0 purchases. Share price up 2.68%. A truly weird share.

....there is a big difference there
Ah but this wasn’t a social mate chat !
You’re right no depth, no more than IM liking others posts on LinkedIn that you all enjoy on the other place.
Let’s just say bloke who works for Prime likes Blackbird and I formed the strong impression they are working together.
