The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Was the rise on 17/4 Stateside due to a little win in court against Alphonso ? Where they tried to get some stuff thrown out. I do hope that resolves in our favour soon .. but no doubt it will drag on.
Great video interview with IM on YouTube
He’s obviously looking better and on top form. I am more positive than ever and love the word ‘scale’ ... and hopefully what’s coming in creator.
I’m still hoping that the Shockwave is coming in April ? to push us up some more. Need some deals before Q4 launch.
I was musing on lack of liquidity. How many shares purchased at time of dot com and thereafter are languishing in desks, held in paper.
I know mine were, many dilutions ago.
Gone are the days of a RNS announced for us being used on an obscure cable TV production.
If there is another buyback as was discussed I expect that means the Sky takeover rumour is a no no? You just wouldn't announce a new one if there was a potential sale ?

Either or might possibly be good for a little company in Wimbledon -
I wasn't expecting much yesterday. Figures right where expected, and when a deal never landed in previous week thought we might be flat . 25% drop - Perhaps people expected more after what was said previously
I started to watch the presentation at work but the start made me turn off. I watched it later and it was OK , Sumit set out his stuff well and it is what it is ! IM not showing up - not a great look to be honest and i hope it isn't anything serious.
I am looking for PBB deals soon (April ?) or lets be honest any news
Even with shock good figures i think we would have drifted back to 10p. I'm holding for 2 years and will filter more funds in if it stays under my average. No spare funds at present for a couple of months and no doubt Share Price will be in a better place then.
Keep the faith -
In light of potential bidders or persons who enquire !
With the court case dragging out further it seems. Is a bid more likely before or after that settles ? I think I read in the court docs that looking for 20 million damages for loss of 365 customers. Seems a tad low unless other damages to be paid assuming TRMR Win.
As the for sale sign was up in Dec 22 I wonder if GS have had any interest. 400 million market cap - cheap for a US peer and would be putting many out of misery
If I read the legal jargon correctly end of May for some sort of summary judgement !
You are a star .. many thanks
Anybody know the court case timelines?
Thought that last year the bulk legal was to be submitted first quarter 23. Has there been slippage?
Tried looking on US legal sites but docs behind a firewall.
Ah but this wasn’t a social mate chat !
You’re right no depth, no more than IM liking others posts on LinkedIn that you all enjoy on the other place.
Let’s just say bloke who works for Prime likes Blackbird and I formed the strong impression they are working together.
Not a clue and having got that response didn’t probe further. Reported just as it happened.
The other board thinks it’s a ramp but hi ho. The conversation happened and having been invested here 10 years plus and sitting on a loss - take it anyway you like.
I was chatting to an IT guy who works for Amazon Prime. He does tech stuff in streaming. I just dropped in Blackbird to the conversation and he not only knew about them but lit up beaming about their technology. Definitely working together.
For balance a few days later spoke to somebody who works in sales for AWS and he’d never heard of them !!
I had an interesting chat with a colleague who also drives for Saga
He was rather bullish for the client group who he states are rather a captured market as they would struggle to holiday with anybody else due to medical conditions. Insurance is included in the price of their holiday and he stated most would struggle to get insured elsewhere. You can opt out of saga insurance when booking.
I left the conversation feeling more confident in the future. He stated most cruises were at about 750 capacity prob due to Covid restrictions
He has to test before he drives and on arrival at port. Those who live closer to port don’t get a saga driver and use a local chauffeur instead. They are not as vigilant and there have been + driver tests meaning clients can’t board
As of 19/6 compulsory mask wearing on board has stopped for customers, but still recommended. Staff who are customer facing are still wearing
No self isolation when a close contact only on positive test.
A start to normality?
I spoke to a couple coming in at LHR just back from Saga river cruise. Don’t know what one but they flew in from Switzerland.
Enjoyed their trip with Saga. Stated 120 Pax on board which they said was pretty much full.
Hopefully better news on next trading update so this turns to profit
Airport chaos - market the door to cruise. Hassle free ... fingers crossed that cruise is on the up. Aircrew still testing + for Covid so impacting staff numbers.
Still no flights in bound from China as aircrew get sent to isolation jail if positive test.
