$200m buyout?
Only if ……how much does that make each share worth
It has to be held no later than 6 months after end of year results - so by 30 June latest
We must have at least 3 weeks calling notice so it has to be called by 9 june.
I suspect it will be held as late as possible to give cb as much time to get good news in - so Friday 30 June could be the date
We should be getting an RNS announcing AGM in next week or 2 weeks at latest.
Delay could be because CB is finalising buy-out from AA for $200M and wants to announce it just before AGM. I may be wrong about that though...........
When is the AGM and have you received any registration documents to attend? I would like to go.
"I sincerely hope there will be a whole bunch of LTHs who can give him both barrels. "
I think CB must be aware that he's going to get a deserved hard time at the AGM, so I would expect CB to try and use some tactics to deflect or reduce the heat on him by getting some news out soon, even if it has to be just via an interview, about FB income.
With POC being where its is, I'm struggling to see how we are going to get any good news re RC in the next 2 or 3 weeks so he will have to major on FB income.
No doubt we will get a few exaggerated claims mixed in with the facts.
Maybe he will bring out the old one liner about "$1m a month income this time next year !"
He hasnt used that one for some time. At least that should please Dani :)
Why not sell the whole company ( 6/7p) and be done with it all. Bush. has got to be worth something! 0
I completely agree with the previous comments. I hope with all my being that Colin appreciates that he alone is responsible for the hyperboles RE size of BR, irresponsible statements in interviews with Zac and the Roast boys RE timescales.
Shareholders now know they simply cannot trust any of his forward guidance. ("Bow on it by April 2022", "I'm not worried about grades"). The wider AIM market investors have cottoned on to his shenanigans - part truths, exaggerations - and are staring clear.
I am disappointed I won't be able to make the AGM - I sincerely hope there will be a whole bunch of LTHs who can give him both barrels. We have had almost zero visible progress with BR since the last AGM and the ultimate weather vane, the share price has plummeted. On your head be it, Mr Bird. Pull your finger out and sort out this mess - either by stepping aside (you evidently have not got what it takes) or being honest with us all.
*Small caveat: the above can be ignored if we sell for 10p in the period for the AGM. Unlikely but Colin might be dreading what's coming at the AGM...
Well put NtMU - I do disagree that he should stay.
His credibility is in tatters after the way he sold BR to shareholders. And, I mean, how unprofessional can you get in trying to gaslight shareholders stating they didn't understand the type of system. Suggesting a 100y mine life and we'll count ourselves lucky if we get 9. There's no mistaking this 'asset' [BR] is not even close to what he'd been selling to SH's. In public forums no less. it's all on tape there is no backtracking from the lies!
Will this anger be directed at CB at the AGM? Will you actually get answer..
Not been reading the posts here for awhile, its all very depressing (Same on BMN that's a right SH show), overall I just want this sold and to get out without a loss...

It takes a lot to shock me on AIM these days... but this s/p fall back from the merited recent rise to 2.35 p ish - off the back of RNS'd fundamenetal improvement in Fair Bride 'Ard production in Q1 2023.. etc.. - has shocked me.. the previous 1.3 p low was an overreaction s/p collapse out of of fear and anger imho...and while a good jump from there to 2.3p might well have seen a pull back from some traders exiting, I get .... still, a new base around 2p - maybe 1.80 p worst case - would have been reasonable in my mind .. but now at 1.5 p ish and still falling is shocking to me here now..
The wider AIM market & sector being in a state of high paronia/fear is of course a factor.. but CB's very damaged reputational credibility is clearly a factor here too ..so I fully understand the anger coming his way on this BB and at the AGM to come... I too am more angry with him than ever ... and I'm especially annoyed be his attempted 'management' of this s/p, whcih has been very incompetent indeed.... and 'managing' information flow like he does here ongoingly is hard core arrogance ...
Still, I don't think he should retire.. instead maybe a more strategic role and appoint Program Managers for each of the assets being put in place the way to go..and him toning hard down on his Xtr 'God Complex' off the back of such a new Organisational structure too, please.
Also I do think that progressive / significant FairBride 'ard income going forwards will see this s/p go back towards 2.5p in July /August.. and Bushranger still has decent potential sell on value too in 2024 or 25 imho.. and my worst case there is a sell on value of 10-20 m gbp for it to another small player to take forward.. so time will see anger discipate here i expect / hope .. and I'm in the context of the assets here now I'm confident 1.5p ish s/p is meaningfully too low..and so i'm fine with staying patient here towards this s/p getting back to a less - very - unfair s/p level over time...
Put CB out to pasture after he has sold this for 10p or more
Nearly at 1.3p watch it spike..
Pretty fed up now, big old paper loss

It must be very hard for Fog horn Leg Horn to keep his mouth shut.
Re post 1106hrs
G600 ……..one would hope and think this is the case.
If APF is anything to go by, the best time to check for an RNS is 5.30pm Friday ahead of a bank holiday weekend. Obviously the lack of cash in the annual accounts was just a coincidence. No CEO would treat shareholders with such disdain........!.
I'm pretty sure CB has not given a fcuk for a long time. He's taken big risks, with other people's money, in an attempt leave some name/legacy form himself. Or at least show he's not a one hit wonder. It seems his legacy will be that of a CEO that could do no more than dilute and make fanciful forward statements he could not deliver on...
I'd love to know what his peers think of him, he really must be a laughing stock especially after what he's been stating about BR....
I've been saying it for years, it's long overdue that he is put out to pasture.
Has it ever occurred to anyone that at his age CB doesn't give a £*#! and his next bit of info will be about his long overdue retirement?
I have never been to a Mr Birds company AGM , but i am 100% going to Xtracts this year ! I recon it will be his largest attended ever with lots of smiling faces NOT
No way will CB be able to let BR just drift away after all he said. This was the big one according to him, not like the many other smaller punts.
Its looking like the "separation study" was nothing more than can kicking. I feel its ever more likely that Colin will be hoping BR will slowly fade away along with the all the other tier 1 dreams he promised.
I think CB will major on FB at the AGM and we should have some indication of better results by then. I suspect CB will play the card of "still waiting for results" re RC and try and use delaying tactics re copper plays.
He will do his usual, "don't look over there, look over here"
I think it highly likely, probably inevitable, that the POC will be going over $12K but I think the timescales are going to take longer than many would want. I think it understandable many may have sold up as things are not happening in the previous time scales and will no doubt take longer.
I'm of the view no news is bad news, or at least not good news as CB would be shouting about it. Thats re Copper plays but we will no doubt get good news re FB when the actual profit is stated in an RNS. None of that appears to be priced in so I'm expecting the SP to move up Sharpley by end of the year due to FB.
I reckon he'll contract a dose of Covid and cry off...
The AGM is gonna be a ball if there is no news to lift the SP soon
We have the same line of thought Jezz :)
I have wondered that Billy. The results from the separation study should be known by the BoD by now, Bird told us 6 weeks ago they were almost complete. Has AA been privy to the news? who knows.
The issues with that line of thought is the Bird factor...It's more likely Bird is keeping his gob shut ATM as it's spent the last two years spouting 'facts' to the market that may have turned out to be fairytales (or lets just be straight and calls them lies)
Yes I did, but it doesn't fit with his usual MO, If at all possible, he would be shouting from the rooftops if anything positive was happening.
Hope I'm wrong, ATM he's f*cked up my retirement plans.
