Feels like a bit of FOMO is kicking in at the moment. For the strongest guide is the purchase price paid by Prevail. I doubt that they paid such a price with a distant hope of recovering it one day. There must be fireworks around the corner for all of us.
Mary Schaheen, President of Prevail Partners, stated: “Everyone at our fund is confident in the growth and success of Hemogenyx Pharmaceuticals as they develop CAR-T cells to target acute myeloid leukemia. Furthermore, Hemogenyx Pharmaceuticals has a seasoned management team with the expertise to accelerate the company to a significant value inflection point through the completion of its planned clinical trial.”
I think from the technical point of view we've had a long period of consolidation after the last placing and are ready to storm the new highs of the year. Any news on the IND or other fronts could really propel us. Yes, there will always be sellers and consolidation periods but we have seen at the beginning of the year, when HEMO sp flies, it flies like a rocket.
I don't understand what's all the fuss about. They clearly state in the presentation that HEMO developed a novel platform of new treatments of existing and emerging viral infections and certain types of cancer. This platform is being spun out as a subsidiary BAIT Biotechnology. They have another subsidiary - Immugenyx LLC - for Hematopoietic Chimeras.
I honestly don't know, DCT55. I know with HEMO you need to be careful to put any timelines and I guess, in part, this is explained by the nature of the science frontier business they are engaged in. I was very surprised to see us retrace back to 2p after the investment RNS so I think it shows you it is not a straight line. But this investment, people behind it (as discussed on this board) and the pipeline of HEMO projects should provide a solid support for this sp to re-rate. When it will happen is anyone's guess...AIMHO DYOR.
Also, importantly, I don't think this investment fund is in for a 10-20% return on their investment. So high teens and even 20s for an sp is an absolutely possible scenario when the Company starts delivering on what it has in the pipeline.
Great post, Andrew4444. My experience is also that sometimes you get accounts of the meetings on message boards and you wonder, did we really attend the same meeting? There are a lot of nuances in terms of people behaviour what they say and how they say it, thanks for giving us your summary of the meeting, I feel moderately positive now. I think Manica will now provide a great base to secure the financial future of the Company and we can expect something to come out of BR. Even if it is not 10p it should be multiples of today's price. Thanks again.
People who are selling at these prices must be insane IMHO. Empress just released update on Manica [pronounced correctly ManEEka]: "we continue to see gold increase month by month and plant is largely de-risked [...] and we are looking for additional growth throughout the end of the year" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPYOHEVNh5w
"Tax in Mozambique is eye wateringly high £283k on £405k profit. Can't see any explanation. Prior year was c30% "
I am not an expert but I think this is a charge for accounting purposes. See Note 25, where it says the tax paid was £92K, which is not that bad.
"the directors anticipate net operating cash inflows for the group for the next twelve months from the date of signing these financial statements.
the directors have assessed the working capital requirements for the forthcoming twelve months and have undertaken assessments which have considered different scenarios based on exploration and mine development spend along with a number of production forecasts until june 2024.
upon reviewing those cash flow projections for the forthcoming twelve months, the directors consider that the company is not likely to require additional financial resources in the twelve-month period from the date of approval of these financial statements to enable the company to fund its current operations and to meet its commitments. the group will continue to monitor corporate overhead costs on an ongoing basis."
they would really be taking a **** if they were to raise after this statement, so that should give us some hope we can go for at least 12 months without any placings.
