It's because the information was only shared with us because someone else had leaked it to the press and it was in a news article. Otherwise we wouldn't have been told at all.
That RNS was lacking enthusiasm and totally undynamic. I'm not surprised the share price dropped as that was what was expected by the author. Some say they don't mind waiting until June. I bet there are others waiting exactly for then when the average share price over 6 months becomes 30% less than it is today.
I think Mr C's words are the ones I read and understand most especially having suffered the torture of BCN with him this share has synergies with what happened there inactivity suppression of the share price lying oh and kiran on the boards.
The share hopefully should come good 🤞 (eventually).
The market has shown that the RNS has valued EMH 8% less than yesterday.
Well before you filter me, the only advice I can give you is to never watch a video or read the words on EMHs leadership. Because me words are just a regurgitation of theirs.
Wise - I have probably been in this share longer than you i'll wager, but how you can see todays RNS as much of a positive beats me. It has just pressed a big reset button and dumped probably another year on the timeline of the share. This outfit has lied and distorted things for years now, and the only thing that makes me in any way cheerful is that a) I sold down 1/2 of my holding a few years ago at circa 85p and b) I more recently sold a block at 30p - this is the never ending story told differently every few months !
Before you are filtered - NO - not for that, it's because you're a PITB (irritant) and have been for too long now.
🤣
Love it. Filtered for pointing out coal plants are not positive for ESG credentials
No - seriously - I prefer the new site = more logical as it has the capacity - don't really care now of the
"During the DFS process, it became apparent that after considerable consultation with local stakeholders and the municipal and regional governments the Dukla site possessed LIMITED CAPACITY and also limited support from the surrounding municipalities."
Skelly, an opportunity to ask you directly - have you got IBS, or, are you a woman who detests all things men - goto to be irritated by something 🥴🤔🤣.
You sure sound like one of my x-girlies with a serious chip on the shoulder - ahh, perhaps you are KC's ex - whatever - you're fired - sorry filtered.
Yea a coal power plant is just amazing for ESG figures
How is it good that the local population rejected your process plant construction and won?
also states
"The Company intends to exercise its 3 options and settle these land acquisitions after the re-zoning application has been successful, anticipated to occur in 2024."
and "Geomet signed the contracts having future options to acquire all necessary lands in Dukla location at total value of CZK966m (US$ 43.96m). EMH has provided a loan of CZK 121m (US$ 5.51m) to Geomet for its proportion of all deposits and option fees. The Company funded the loan to Geomet using cash at bank and anticipates that the remainder of the monies to be paid at exercise of the Option will be funded as part of the project financing for the Cinovec Project. Each of the contracts are unconditional."
Confirmation of the 're-zoning' application required and not all monies paid/full commitment due to options to be exercised in 2024 from what I understand - could pull out of the site - if any of it actually purchased then sell it !! New site smacks of intended increased production/processing capability. - that's good, imo.
How much money did EMH waste buying that land before even having permission to build a plant on it?
I remember KC telling us buying that land was proof the construction of the mine was going ahead. Now we find out they don't have permission to build there. And we find out from a news article before EMH even bother with an RNS.
F Me, how how useless is this leadership
I guess the rampers forgot how KC told us the delay to the DFS would have no effect on the timing of mining construction....
Try put a positive spin on that one. How does relocating and redesigning you processing plant and completely starting from scratch moving raw materials on an overhead cable system to the processing plant to then adding in an additional truck transport system to a rail loading/offloading bay not increase your timeline.
Explain how that's not either total incompetence or total lies?
Highlights
· The Prunéřov site has been selected for the lithium processing plant with the move expected to speed up the permitting process and expedite the Cinovec Project.
Speed up and expidite
· The Prunéřov site is anticipated to also enable positive outcomes for project economics including reductions in capex and opex per tonne as a result of optimalization of the engineering identified as part of the Definitive Feasibility Study ("DFS") process, and reduced demolition and clearance requirements.
Positive outcomes for our Economics
· The new site has received preliminary agreement and support from the municipal and regional governments.
Confirmed support from municipal and regional governments which we didn't clearly have before until today.
· Geomet will now proceed to finalise the DFS process taking into account the new site, including the revised capex from the new site.
Finalise... The largest majority of the DFS is complete.
Todays news was great and further derisked us towards being a major producer for the EU and Czech Republic - it also gave further emphasis on the move away from coal, which supports the purpose of the JTF 49mil grant to help replace coal jobs with clean jobs.
Theres also been alot of confirmation across the last interviews that CEZ, the government, and the bank are aligned and that the projects coming online. To think we still just bouncing off a 5 year low. Forget past delays and Ignore those blaming keith - the EU has been slow, until now and everything is on EMHs side from here moving forward.
"What has been clear in this process is the importance placed on this project by the community and Czech Government at all levels. In the European Union's Critical Raw Materials Act ("CRMA") environment, the coming together of both the Cinovec project joint venture partners and the Czech Government in the decision-making process with regards of the selection of the Prunéřov site provide a very strong foundation for our upcoming application for Strategic Project status under the CRMA."
Ladislav Štěpánek, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Geomet, stated: "Prunéřov is a suitable place for our project. It is an industrial location at a greater distance from populated areas where a lignite power plant is already operating. Building a processing plant in Prunéřov fulfils our philosophy of coal transformation, as it would provide enough jobs for the employees of the gradually closing coal mines and power plants located in the vicinity. Only an ore loading facility will be built at the original site at Dukla, from where we will transport the ore by rail to Prunéřov. I am glad that we have found an agreement with the municipalities and the region and can continue with the project at Prunéřov."
Strong and buy and hold - today's bashers have a clear agenda to spread FUD and lied today multiple times about time lines, funds and keith - re read the R
Think we're onboard with the project as will be but unfortunately KC nope
A very moot point Phil. As I’ve stated previously this project is not a simple one located in the middle of nowhere in the Aussie outback. It is complex socially, spatially and economically.
When you read the comments in the RNS however everyone now seems to be on board, well apart from some obviously…
2027
Just 2 items.
1. Will we get a grant without having a DFS compiled & available (is it not a precursor) ?
2. What’s everyone’s prediction for the revised DFS date?
“As would be expected in such circumstances, we were unable to provide information on this matter whilst a revised project configuration was being formulated, due to social and environmental impact sensitivities and had to defer the DFS until the details of the new site were agreed,” Coughlan added.
“We understand that a deferral to a DFS is usually considered a negative matter, but in this case, we consider it to be for a positive result, particularly as the Prunéřov site is currently home to the Prunéřov Power Plant, and the permitting can now be advanced in a more timely manner with the cooperation of the local, regional and federal governments.”
Does anyone genuinely think that no work to incorporate this move into the DFS will have been done until this announcement was made? Or maybe it has been under review for quite a while - as is pretty much stated in the first paragraph quoted above?
That’s certainly a positive Alex.
One would hope CEZ ownership would help shave some lost time off
"Prunéřov is the site of the former Prunéřov 1 Power Station, which was decommissioned in 2020 and Prunéřov 2 Power Station. The site is owned and operated by CEZ, the Company's project level partner."
In addition, they also have corresponding power lines and a power plant there. That would work in our favor.
I think with CEZ behind us the project will be implemented.
