I was surprised by your comments that Hartree were unlikely to take the shares. As Colin said today, why include that provision. The positive is they would hold onto the stake, put a director on the board and plan for the long term.

I thought they were Chinese. I know there was Chinese involvement previously. But I have had others miners that were stitched up by the Chinese. And a person I know in Australia who worked in the business said this was common knowledge in Australia when I discussed it with him.

But I am happy for the deal. At least they will get things moving quickly and Colin can focus on his other companies. Been a very good week.

I remember Gideon Tadmore being described as a financial genius. Given the amount of naysayers on here over the last 2 years who told us Navitas are too small, little revenue etc and would never get the funding, I know who my money is on.

My take is, this is nothing more than kicking the can down the road. Trump needs a ceasefire as the World Cup is being held in the US, then there is the 250th celebrations followed by the mid term elections. I would guess there has also been a fair amount of shorting the oil market to keep prices down. The institutions will want a quick drop to cover and have the favour repaid. The Iranians have never kept to any previous agreement and certainly won't this time.

Typical of big companies playing the small company. They know we need the cash so can play for time.

AFP is the younger brother of BZT, not KEN. However, it does share the same Namibian partner as KEN - who must be loving this rise !. I am not sure about the cross ramping, as in this case they share the same geologists, drill rigs etc. Taking the drill rig off AFP to speed up KEN is relevant to AFP. And GLR seems to have been put on the backburner unfortunately.

That explains the taste of cheap Prosecco !
