Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
Ana - that has been the strategy for a long time. If an offer came in for the whole lot then of course they would consider it but we wouldn't be partial to that information.
As others have said, a second listen is always worthwhile for the detail. Hopefully the BHP move will bring attention to the copper space.
Thanks for posting the podcast link and to the guys for producing it. Good news that FQ are getting the drilling machinery into place in NW Zambia. Luansobe and the Kalahari are good but a find in NW Zambia is what we are dreaming of.
I still think a deal with ILH is the most likely outcome for Luansobe. They have the finances and size to expand in Zambia. Colin is also based in the UAE and JLP has already done a deal with ILH. Given the power shortages in Zambia it will require a company with deep pockets to sort the issues out and the UAE has already announced they are going to invest in Green energy projects such as solar. Hopefully we will get an update this week on Luansobe and then the Afrimat confirmation shortly after. Maybe some publicity from Charles would add interest.

Another mine off line. Supply will only get tighter. Lets get Luansobe into production asap.

My broker wouldn't let me buy the Wisdom Tree Copper ETN, nor was COPJ available. So stuck with dodgy AIM companies plus BRWM. Back in 2003 I was keen on gold. In those days there was no gold ETF so I bought AIM mining shares. Gold was approx $300 an ounce. Quickly went up but the companies invariably went bust or screwed by the respective Government or Chinese. Hope this time is different. Maybe others know of other options.
Thanks for posting the update. Good news has been sadly lacking in recent times. Given the lack of copper supply around the world - not helped by droughts in Zambia - I personally hope we mine it ourselves under contract rather than sell. A good steady income will mean we can be included in a wider range of investment products/ETF's.
Rumour has it that Sandfire did offer the money. But allegedly Colin replied he is too busy chasing the next hot region on the moon to entertain discussion with mere mortals on earth.
The market has given up with the Birdy stable of Companies. Barely a trade across them. We need some positive news.

Copper up again and yet the explorers continue to do nothing. And at BZT, even worse than that. Bring on that news.
With thanks to NTM on the XTR board

CHR15P, I didn't sell GLR for XTR but I did do a top up of XTR last week and they are actually in profit. So miracles do happen with a Birdy company. Shame my previous buy was at over 7p a share (amongst many) !.
Shame that despite a rising copper price there is still no interest in small explorers. Bring on some substantial news Mr Bird.
If there is any good news then I wish Colin would hurry up and release it. 2024 is beginning to look like 2023 and 2022 etc etc. Colin said he doesn't like gold because it is an "end of the world"metal. It seems many investors are betting on the end of the world !.
