Just to add to your post Ana, Colin was confident that Shinganda will be a IOCG.
Personally I wasn't surprised by the Manica news. In the last update Colin raised the red flag about it. We discussed on here the problems working with the Chinese.
I gather he was at the African Pioneer license whilst doing the interview. I wonder if that will be the next news.
ChessMaster. Sad but true. AIM has been dire for a long time now. However, I do think at some point in the future RKH will be bought out. My hope would be when it reaches 200,000 barrels a day but I expect much sooner. Given that we are (hopefully) funded for the foreseeable future I am happy to wait. After 20 years what's another 5 !.
And thanks to Mogger and co once again for sharing information over the weekend.
There must come a point when the UK takes a proactive stance towards energy security. The news from the Middle East worsens by the days. Underwrite those bank loans and lets get FID accomplished.

As a general FQ point:

Does seem to be hotting up. Maybe we will get news here soon ?
Ana, true. But until there is some return for long term shareholders then sentiment will remain poor on AIM.
I hope something is announced on Kamativi as has been suggested, however the lack of share volume is disquieting.

Cyb - the market seems to be currently taking your line of thinking. Colin has spent a lifetime overhyping. But has also has had success. Which way will these projects go ?. I am surprised by the lack of assay results I have to admit.

Regardless of any deals that may or may not happen, shouldn't we be getting assay results by now ?. My hope is good news with assays/a deal etc. Unfortunately many years of investing in Birdie companies has taught me that no news equlals bad news. Or maybe they are sorting out their stock options first.

"Nonetheless, Kiwara shares haven't spiked because of Colin's promotional abilities. These are not markets that respond well to froth and empty rhetoric. What Kiwara really owes to Colin is his vision in putting the company on the ground in north-west Zambia, which, he says, is a region that may one day replace the established Copperbelt to the east as the key mining area in Zambia. Less than 40 kilometres away from Kiwara's properties, Equinox have already got the ball rolling at the Lumwana copper project, which is currently working through the last of a few teething issues before commissioning can be completed next year.
The northwest of Zambia has been recognised as prospective for many a year. The way Colin tells it, though, the occurrences and grades were there, but the grades were nevertheless on the lower side of attractive, and, which was more of a project killer back in the day, there was no ability to handle oxides and transitional metals. "Paradoxically", says Colin, "that's now what we want".
From a personal perspective, whereas GLR is my biggest holding in the region, I have shares across various companies. I hope there will be many large discoveries and the geology suggests that imho.

Given what was said in yesterdays AFP podcast and the expected copper shortfalls, the value of Luansobe must be increasing every day.
HZ - just making a light hearted comment. As I have stated before, I am a big fan of NW Zambia. But when the interviewers ask for stretch targets, lets be serious. Subject to a find, it will be sold long before that. Maybe at 2 m/t ............
Jezzoo, such a disappointing post. After listening to the podcast I was sure I was on the way to becoming a multi millionaire with my AFP shares.
In fairness, the grades they talk about do put BR to shame. So I thought it was a concern to XTR !.
Again, thanks iky for posting.
They talk about Luansobe from 17.50.
Production soon and further deep drilling in 2024/25. With the opening of Mopani it will be all straight forward. Just dig the ore and it will be processed at Mopani.
Overall, all positive and I am going to be a multi millionaire with my investments in NW Zambia. .......
I assume Colin will be doing a podcast this New Year. It would be nice if the questions could be a bit more demanding and avoid offering speculative hype expecting Colin to confirm. For me personally, I am happy to sit on Luansobe until the copper price goes to $11,000 or above. We don't need to do a firesale. The trouble is, when Colin said copper was going to be produced last June (and the same hype across his multiple companies) he loses credibility.
And the due diligence on the zinc assets has been very questioable.
Regardless, I am hoping for a recovery on AIM, copper to start a long term uptrend and a rising tide should lift all boats - and more !.
Thanks to everyone for their contribution over a tough 2023, lets have some good luck in 2024 and beyond.
