I can agree that generally but given that we are told that no further dilutive funding will be required, the CoS on the drill are high, talks are advanced with funding partners etc why does the market still appear not to like this share. What is needed to release the potential? Like many on here I've been waiting along time.
The fact Timor Gap increased their stake in Chuditch recently reassures me that route to market will not be problematic
The fact that Timor gap increa
I'd be interested to know what you think the 'explosive ' news will be? I now have some doubt that JV finance, rig booking or even successful drill will make the massive difference we would all like. We need the go ahead on route to market and that still seems as far away as ever...sadly.
Not to mention the faulty plug on his hardware.
If we get another dip down to 0.06p i predict the buys will go off the scale here :-)

The BaronOilplc board anticipates the completion of drill funding and securing a rig slot in the second quarter of 2024 #BOIL Based on 3D seismic mapping and the results of Chuditch-1, the planned vertical appraisal well drilled at this new location is expected to encounter gas-charged reservoirs 16m shallower than at the initial location and, as a result, SundaGas now predicts a taller 149m gas column in the reservoir target versus 133m predicted at the initial location."
Proven reserves estimated at 1.2 trillion cubic feet of gas, a significant increase from the initial 700 billion, low-risk drilling trajectory, Increased gas column predicted.
This collaboration aims to tap into an estimated 1.2 trillion cubic feet of natural gas, potentially reshaping the energy landscape of Southeast Asia.
The project not only aims to fulfill local energy needs but also positions the country as a key player in the Asian gas market, which has seen robust growth over recent years.
The economic implications of developing the Chuditch gas field are substantial. With proven reserves now estimated at about 1.2 trillion cubic feet of gas, significantly up from the initial 700 billion, the field’s capacity to attract global investment has markedly increased.
This reassessment of the gas resources not only positions the project as a cornerstone for Timor-Leste's economic growth but also reduces dependency on energy imports. The collaboration between Baron Oil and Timor Gap EP, coupled with advanced seismic technologies, has mitigated the risks traditionally associated with gas extraction, enhancing the appeal of Chuditch as a lucrative venture for international energy stakeholders.

200% in one trading session? not a chance!!!….. maybe when we find out for real how much gas is there…. it will do 150/200 MKT🤞 and don’t forget that will be more placings, let’s hope we do the drill first and the shareholders can get some good return🤞🚀🚀🚀🚀
Whilst we have a contingent on here who could so so easily start an argument in an empty room,a more amusing page on here is todays trades. What a complete nonsense the aim has become
MD
News in less than 4 weeks, good or bad. We may just sit tight.
We could use another morale lifting interview from Andy Butler. Daily trading is a nonsense if you view the bigger picture. Loads going on behind the scenes and there’s some serious updates coming our way.
Timor Leste need this well drilled. I just wish they would let the world know. Greater Sunrise is parked and who knows if it will happen. BOIL hold all the cards. Not long now.
Im the only one thinking boil Will break 0.20/0.25p? I dont think im the only one

Eddie
That cracked me up. Spot on
If you were that sure, you'd have thrown it all at UPL.
What a load of ⚽️🔓🔓
I have actually added more boil today :-) buying down here is real good oppo at moment .
And also have my first buy into UPL as it looks a bobby dazzler with some major news pending on their PSC and JV. Potential for a quick treble up there IMO
Why don’t you all sell here and go to UPL😂
Jelly,no misunderstanding from me, and actually UPL does not need ramping just check the latest RNS as you will see why, anyway i will speak no more of it , it was only a brief mention as it came out of suspension yesterday.
As for boil , a tad down today but should bounce back by end of week early next IMO

Ha ha ha ha yeah Eddie, Seems to be a case of 'Person who doesn't cross ramp, cross ramps'.
What overhang?
Mark this price down (Ask: 0.065) because l have a feeling in the months to come you won't see this low again. But while all those chases rainbows, NTOG has delivered this week, easy traded giving the CEO has gone... UJO sat in the same position, assets, debt free, just needs that nudge.. BOIL is loaded and just waiting for the overhang to clear DYOR please https://www.share-talk.com/baron-oil-gearing-up-for-a-promising-venture-campaign-in-timor-leste-in-2024/

Still trying to read between the lines here:
Last RNS:
“We can now focus all our attentions on our core area of SE Asia, where we have an exciting and valuable asset in Timor-Leste, a highly experienced operating team and a pipeline of material new venture opportunities across the region."
Doesn’t sound like a company on the brink. Could all be empty rhetoric, but it would have to be incredibly misleading.
Does anyone know if the ENI Ithaca deal has any relevance to us? Is a satellite model something we could feasibly become to ENI.
ENI website says:
Our satellite model is based on creating separate entities that can independently access capital markets to finance their own growth and to reveal the real value of each business. It is our answer to the potential trade off emerging between continuing with more traditional businesses that generate high free cashflows, but offer reduced growth profiles, or investing into Energy Transition, high growth sectors where we can generate significant value but which demand capital.
Our satellite model reduces the capital absorption by new businesses preserving the free cash flow from traditional assets for the benefit of shareholder distribution.
Emerging activities can be developed autonomously, usually with third-party funding, accessing new pools of aligned capital and thereby highlighting value creation.

I don’t want to state the obvious here, but we’re all invested in a tiny MCAP exploration company. If any of the larger O&G firms are interested they will squeeze us very hard indeed, as we need them more than they need us. This is why our BODs needed to be changed as Yo-Yo was MILES out of his depth, AB’s changes and relationships should see us well. But some need to be very honest with their evaluation of what we’ll have left post any carry deal. This is no 50x bagger nonsense. But it will be a reasonable return and better than 95% of funds over 5 years IMHO.

Potential and discovery should say
Yes interesting weeks ahead. CEO confirmed drill funding would be at asset level so no more placings. Or of course one of the big boy will bid to buyout boil 60% wi?. Multi tcf discovery will need deep pockets!.
Personally speaking, I can’t get enough of this bullish commentary.
It gives me a warm glow inside to hear again what’s possible over the coming months. Hit these milestones and we are in for some big trading days.
This bit stands out.
Looking ahead, Butler emphasized the company’s plans for rapid development post-drilling, reflecting a dynamic period for Baron and its stakeholders through 2024 and early 2025, with the investment community keenly observing the project’s progression.

China going big
(Bloomberg) -- China National Offshore Oil Corp., the country’s state-owned oil and gas giant, is expanding its fleet of LNG carriers to increase its trading power on the global market. CNOOC Gas and Power Group Co., a company unit and the country’s biggest LNG importer, is more than doubling the fleet to increase its flexibility to move cargoes around the world and boost profit potential, it said in a statement.
