Froggy - Please turn spell check on. That was painful.
The appraisal well is considered “low risk”. The entire purpose of the well is to prove the asset. You never know until the well is drilled, but as I say, AB and his team consider it “low risk”.
If you go on the Baron Oil website you can see every RNS and read it. All your questions will be mysteriously answered.
Alternatively you could just listen to Santiago and Kever. They will guide you well.
Santiago - you need a lobotomy.
Agreed Jarv,
AB has mentioned several times that Timor Gap having “skin in the game” with a paying interest is not the norm.
To me this is a vital point. They are willing this on. Can only be a hugely positive thing when it comes to funding, planning and licenses.
Wild nights down the local Idiotieque.

Struggling to buy on HL. Anyone else?
Thanks Tradedesk.
Good point
Just trying to establish if the recent Allenby Capital valuation is essentially null and void now? Since AB’s comments around equity.
Hi all,
If anyone feels they need to make a formal complaint about a disruptive member of LSE. Anyone you can think of.
Please also email:

Many thanks.
Or She!
Hi All,
Please could you keep reporting Santiago. He’s a disruptive influence on this group.
Please stop replying and just report him every time he posts. That’s the answer.
Thanks

Thanks Eddie,
Definitely not trying to pedal negativity. I really appreciate the answers. Very useful.
My gut tells me A LOT of this was not the original business plan! Placings, board changes and even wells! But here we are, and it’s not necessarily a bad thing.
VT - I hope you don’t mind me asking your opinion.
Assuming AB gets the funding for the appraisal well, books the rig slot, drills and finds our wildest dreams. Where do you suppose that leaves us?
Are there majors waiting in the wings already? The appraisal well is a condition of the sale and the findings will drive the market value.
Or does AB potentially have no one yet, and he sniffs around for a buyer after he’s proved the asset unequivocally. Hence why he’s off selling his product at conferences.
This must be very difficult to put an accurate value on until that well is drilled. Right?
Great presentation from AB. All very positive.
The takeaway from that does seem to be that BOIL are going to still be very much involved when drilling this appraisal well and they have a way to finance it.
If Timor Gap have “skin in the game” and a large incentive to get it over the line, surely a government loan is an option? Secured against the asset.
I’m assuming the “partner” helping with the surveys currently, can help with the appraisal well too. Which surely gets us a step closer? Right?
To be fair. I got called a fraud by Santiago after my first post. So there is also fair amount of baseless finger pointing going on here. Doesn’t seem hugely productive.
Hoping I’m more legit now that I’ve posted twice! Think how respected I’ll be on post 1,000!
I’m very grateful to the likes of Eddie, Jarv, Filthy, Howey, VT etc for the consistent and positive and research.
I’m trying to understand the clues this recent placing gives us.
There is a fair amount of negativity towards it. The dilution is undeniably terrible in terms of a return on investment, but I’m struggling to believe it’s only for the sake of kicking the can down the road. Just so the directors can line their pockets with a few more months salary. Perhaps that’s naive.
Unless someone is lying, there’s currently still cash in the company (I would be very suspicious if cash was getting tight when they did it). My gut tells me there was reason and there’s a game plan. They’re talking to majors and jumping through the required hoops.
This of course doesn’t mean we’ll all be rich tomorrow!
