OK. If so, I add asap!
It would be nice to see our new directors show that they believe in the company with some substantial share purchases in the market.
Can't be bothered to check but I thought the piping was leaving by last w/end and due to arrive either yesterday or today? Frankly though in the great scheme a few days makes little difference. I had been hovering over the BUY button for a few weeks and finally took the plunge for more today. Yes there are risks but I think the chances of a fairly quick 25%+ profit are greater than the risk of a loss which wont be recovered over perhaps 6 months. Some of the bickering on this forum makes me despair.
After years of being a good informative and rational board it's a shame to see the muppets arrive.
Why? What is going to prompt this 40-100% rise without positive and definite news?
Well if there is good news round the corner I hope we're approaching that corner at speed!
I really don't know what you want the BoD to say or what they really could say to a minority of shareholders. Personally I'd much rather they used their time more constructively than crafting letters which can have no real content and gave us news when there is something tangible to say. And yes I was/am p***ed by the dilution but can see how it might be to our longer term benefit.
Mannan,
Surely the answer that is simply more sellers than buyers! We have been promised 'jam tomorrow' for many years. Might be worth remembering the words of Warren Buffet.....'when others get fearful get greedy! Only invest what you can afford to lose!
No No NO! That can't be happening. We all know there is no crane there to offload it!
FFS.
Dough
Re your 18.33. I take it maths was never your strong point? :-)
Hmmmnnn! At least one of those answers must fall in the 'wild guess' category but which one?
Any-one have any real news (not just wild guesses)about whether this left the factory on time?If so I would expect a pic of it arriving on site sometime soon.
Acker, you surprise me with this post. It focuses on a small offshore island. I read an article in the last few days stating that worldwide sales of EVs was up 30% year on year. Surely that is much more relevant?
Jarv,
If that's correct then I hold my hand up to a big mistake. Of course AB would not have been mentioned in the last published AR. Pretty sure I've seen all the presentations but can't recall this being mentioned, but have been otherwise pre occupied. Anyone still got a link to that presentation? Thanks
I have been invested in this share for many many years. Over the past 12 months the passing of time and some health issues have meant I've started to liquidise much of my portfolio but still haven't sold any Boil which means I am now grossly overweight. It has long mean a 'jam tomorrow' or even 'lots of jam tomorrow' share. Those who are long term investors here and perhaps the newer ones too will be here because of the longer term promise. My musings made me look again and wonder why, apart from A Yeo, our directors seem to have so little 'skin in the game' ie. they hold very few shares. Our newest Director hasn't been quick to put his money in and show confidence.
In the words of the late Joe Strummer it just makes me wonder- Should I stay or should I go now'?
Clearly it was just wind not labor pains yet!
I'm not going to give you a definitive answer to that as I cannot claim to know all the rules but this has certainly happened to me previously with other shares I have owned. Shares were suspended for quite a few months whilst bidding co carried out due diligence.
Whilst here best wishes to HFB. One of the more positive and worthwhile posters on these boards.

.....is to wake up to an RNS saying shares suspended whilst the board consider an offer made for the entire company....followed by a second RNS a couple of days later saying a second, higher offer had been received. Unlikely but not entirely impossible.
I’m really puzzled as to why people think the installation of the new mill is going to solve the production issues. The existing mill was apparently working well but could only process 50% of the ‘nameplate’ capacity of the plant and we were attempting to produce 25% of nameplate capacity. – We failed to do that and have not been provided any information on exactly how much or what grade of Spodumene was produced- we were simply told volume and grades were ‘improving’ presumably form zero to what?
Why should he doubling of mill capacity immediately lead to nameplate production as some on this board seem to think is going to happen?
