Reluctantly I agree with You Jarv. Surprised to see the overwhelming positivity from lt posters whose opinions I greatly respect. Hope they are right and I'm wrong in my interpretation.

Welcome back CDF and sorry to hear your news. To my mind not much has changed we have been promised much with little delivery as yet. We live in hope as ever. The planned drill in q1 was 'postponed ' to q2 and as we have ye to have any news re funding of that drill must be in serious doubt.

My best decision in recent times was to sell some a few weeks ago. The worst decision was then to buy a large chunk back again when the price fell....and its continued falling!

Flew out of g/wick this morning. Do this route4-5 times a year. Normally 95% full, today about 85%. Quietest I've seen for a while. Having said that quite a few speedy borders and hold luggage..

One would assume the timings were well known in advance and, as the original plan was supposedly to drill in Q1, wasn't this left a late? Also surely you wouldn't go the cost of booking a rig until all the approvals were in place? To me this all just adds to the ....'something not seeming quite right here'

I wouldn't say there has been a stampede for the exit but certainly an orderly queue. I stopped selling as the price dropped and was actually thinking of buying some back on a further drop. Surely we can have another spike soon?

No idea on either but becoming ever more sceptical about this one. Patience nearly exhausted 35% now sold. From the market figures looks like I'm not alone.

Hny to all lths from me too. Filthy, do you really think this has been a trading share over the past 18 months or so? You would have had to be very lucky with timings I think. Haven't kept any records but what was the best sell price in the last year? Still holding all mine but wish knew more about this exclusivity deal. How long does it last? If no positive news by end of month on funding I will be more than a bit concerned.

I can detect faux outrage from miles away! I am one of those 'just above' the threshold so need no lectures from you. Having lost the argument you seem to want to change the parameters. Remember also also that it was the Tories who froze the income tax thresholds 4 years ago dragging many pensioners and others less well off into paying income tax far in excess of the £300pa. Personally I am happy to see the money better targeted. I have heard some in my social group complain about its loss saying that 'it paid for their drinks whilst on holiday'. I have sympathy for those in genuine need and would encourage them as need it to apply for all the benefits they are entitled to. It is the Tories again who label people as 'scroungers' and put them off applying

Funny how people forget that the Tories oppossed the bringing in of the winter fuel allowance and then failed to increase it even once over 14 years in govt. Guess that doesn't suit their narrative.

There has been significant criticism of Andy Yeo for the 'shocking raise' in Feb and I was not happy about it myself but look at the finances. In Junne 2023 we had circa £4.5 m cash. In june 2024 not much different But we had had the raise of around £3m AND around £600k from the farm up with Timor Gap so our burn was around £300,000 pm. I suspect that is increasing as costs associated with the planned drill come in. Take the £3m away from our cash position at end of june away and the cost for the 4 months since and where would we be now without that raise? I begin to suspect that some of the complaints were not that the raise was done but that the 'big boys' were not offered the discounted shares all to themselves. If we were now in the position of having no money AB would not be negotiating but begging. As it is I still feel we are in a pretty weak position.

... but the 'fools rinsing 5-10%' are showing a profit unlike the majority of the 'strong hands'. I was on the point of selling my entire holding last week, after 20+ years since first purchase, but just held on for that little bit more. Ah well, next pump.

I think AB was put in a position where he was going to be damned if he did or damned if he didn't' (release an RNS). I can see nothing that really warranted the release. The part about rig prices declining looks like trying to add a gloss what is really negative news. Next important news for me likely to be the Woodside report, promised at latest, by end of year. If that is not favourable then it's likely to be a very long wait for these to flourish, and I mean decades.

Oh yeah! These 'real people' will really be deeply focused on releasing the wealth for those in poverty. Not!

I think you misunderstand me. i didn't say I was 'concerned', simply that I find it 'odd' Yesterday there was indeed not many significant trades, ignoring the last of the day. On Thurs however I seem to remember that each time buying moment built up there were some large, though not enormous, sells Weren't there 3 sells of around 12m very close together? I just wonder who is doing the selling. Large numbers of PIs are holding this share and not that many are much in profit so I wonder about the number of sells between say, 5-10m+. I'm not suggesting these sellers 'know something' the rest of us don't.just wondering if this is really multiple sellers or still an 'overhang' perhaps from the placement. If so the sooner they are gone the better. Given past volatility of the sp also surprised at the muted reaction to the unofficial 'news'. Perhaps, when the RNS comes it will be different. I don't mind a slow steady rise but will be equally happy to trade spikes.
