Well my tuppence worth is, and has been for sometime as I previously stated, that the RNS re prod will be next week. I guess it could even be the week after but that would be cutting things fine depending on whether we are currently producing any saleable product. If the plant as currently configured should be able to produce 2k tonnes per month we only need 2 weeks to produce the 1k but depends on what the deadline is. Would prefer to meet this months deadline but in any event this plant WILL eventually produce the goods and be profitable.

Not sure I agree with you there but would be happy for you to be right. The additional 3D is , I think, not taking place til summer 2024? There will be cost associated with that and I doubt we'll get a sale or JV before the results of that. I've been in this share along time, (10 years+?) and its becoming harder to remain optimistic. I'm prepared to hold another 12-18 months but if no concrete news by then will be tired of waiting for tomorrows jam. Perhaps I should have got out after the disappointment of Z34.

I can only see 2 reasons for GR to release an RNS. Either we are producing at the correct grade and expect to meet the IK tonnes to Canmax before end Nov or we're not. Personally I'm happy to wait another couple of weeks for the former. Always thought the commissioning would take a few weeks.

If we had the 1k tonne done by Friday it would be a minor miracle, There is inevitably downtime in any commissioning period which this is. If can get 1k tonnes produced by the end of the Oct that will still be a fantastic result. If we can just avoid the penalty payments til the end of the year then this will really take off. Take a break and stop looking at the share price every day!

At this stage I'm not worried by lack of an announcement. Let them get on with commissioning without giving a blow by blow account. I would hope to hear something by late Oct or I will get concerned.

That's exactly the question I was thinking of asking. Also is this a 24/7 process? If the plant is stopped for any reason is there a protracted timescale to get it back working or is it an on/off process?

Somewhat surprised by the low key reaction to todays news but happy to ad more at a price which is at least in part, 'derisked'.

Couple of points which I noted. Firstly in the RNS of 21/9 it was said:- 'Open pit mining operations at Zulu are expected to resume next week' In todays interview it is now being said, end of next week. Why the delay?

Guess the market will now await confirmation of grades, which I'm certain Canmax will have have confirmed long ago, before a significant rerating. This is a great opportunity for those with spare risk capital.

Marcus, my reading of the RNS dated 15/8 is that it is the 1st Nov from which they need to have delivered the first 1kt +/- 10% so they don't have the luxury of 9 weeks or am I missing something. I'm not a bit concerned about the 'no news ' this week in fact I'm delighted by it, perhap sit shows a lesson learned. Don't crow about success until you are sure. My main worry is that the plant design strikes me as fragile in that it appears, to my untrained eye, that any failure at any stage seemingly would stop the entire plant. That's a lot of machinery working hard under extreme conditions- breakdowns are inevitable?

When the offtake agreement refers to 1k tonnes per month of product do we know where that means delivered to? If I had a say in the next couple of months I would deliver a Maximum of 900 tonnes (1K=/- 10%) per month and keep any extra production for the next moths delivery to cover any shortfall. It does strike me that the whole production process is only as reliable as the weakest part.

Any one know what the hourly max throughput of a mill like that is? Must be fairly substantial. Also whats the average % of 'good' material v 'spoil'

In my view you can't say what the production grades are until you have actual production? Sure you can 'cherry pick' a few bits for the lab but that's not the same

A few unusually chunky trades going through the past couple of days. At least one looked like a simple B&B into an ISA but I wonder if we're going to have some news incoming very soon? Wasn't planning to but had a small top up.

Really couldn't care if it hits .12, .13 or even .15 today. I'm waiting for the bigger prize. It's coming, just sit on your hands for another 12 months- it'll be worth the wait.
