Valereum Announces Strategic Enhancements to the GATE Token Strategy

Valereum Plc is a publicly traded company with its own utility token, GATE. Since the acquisition of the GSX Group, the team has worked throughout 2024 to build a strong foundation to position GATE Token as a central component of the evolving VLRM digital assets ecosystem spanning VLRM's Digital Financial Markets Infrastructure (DFMI) technology and our marketplaces in both Real World Assets (RWA) and Public Securities, thus ensuring a long-term and sustainable vision for GATE.

Several integration options for GATE have been under development as Valereum prepares to launch its VLRM Markets RWA ecosystem and Bridge DFMI technology solution. Recent funding announcements and strategic partnerships (pending completion) have greatly expanded the GATE's brief, revealing opportunities to deliver value not only in the tokenisation and RWA sectors, but also in new utilities beyond these core applications.

A clear strategy for GATE is a vital value proposition for Valereum, aligning with its long-term vision. It is intended to unlock exponential growth in tokenised markets, foster stronger community engagement, and deliver competitive advantages in the dynamic and rapidly advancing digital asset space.

As part of this approach, Valereum has onboarded a tokenomics expert from the blockchain and financial sector, who will work with us to refine and enhance options for GATE (especially following recent announcements). The priority is to ensure GATE's robustness, scalability, and success through possibilities including, but not limited to:

● CEX Listings

● Onboarding market makers

● Focused and targeted marketing by an external agency

● Growing the GATE holder base into new audiences

● Restructuring GATE for long-term value creation to token holders

● Significant enhanced liquidity in Uniswap

● Liquidity mining incentives for GATE vs ETH and USDT Pools on DEX's

● Incentives across the whole VLRM ecosystem allowing clients to buy, hold and stake GATE for the long term.

● VLRM Markets will adopt GATE utilities within its ecosystem during 2025, including but not limited to: incentives to award contributors who support ecosystem development; Partner and Ambassador utility; and Issuer utility.

● A GATE dashboard

● Potential GATE vs RWA token pairings (*subject to further legal, compliance and feasibility analysis)

● Partnerships within RWA, tokenisation sectors and utilities across the entire Web3/blockchain space

● Integration of synergistic opportunities to grow and enhance GATE utility within the wider VLRM ecosystem post the recent RNS concerning DMC Markets Inc.

Utility Integration Planning Given the expanded scope, strategic investment and recent partnership announcements, we will update the market with more detail during Q1 of 2025 on the plans for GATE, specifically regarding the governance process and community discussions.

Work has now commenced to rapidly expand the utility of GATE and post the strategic review, we look forward to sharing the roadmap, which is expected to include:

● Details of GATE's enhanced utility above and beyond that detailed in the GATENet whitepaper

● The launch of a community voting mechanism to ensure participatory decision-making

● Hosting interactive feedback sessions to engage the GATE community

● Enabling direct engagement between stakeholders and VLRM

● Implementing transparent decision-making processes for ongoing development.

High Level Timeline Of Phased Delivery:

The Board of Directors has approved a substantial budget for the execution of the GATE project in 2025, on the back of the recent pending funding announcements. Pete Sekhon, Investor Relations Director and VLRM Board Member, will spearhead the GATE project with a small team, alongside external expertise.

The high level timeline consists of 4 core phases, outlining Phase 1 with an objective to hold a Governance vote during Q1 2025, which includes:

● Tokenomics Modelling

● The launch of a community voting mechanism to ensure participatory decision-making
