I expect market consolidation in Europe in the next 12 months. Some airlines will go bust and those have capacity will take market over. Might be wrong though but I don't see WIZZ is being among the most vulnerable ones. Norwegian, Air Baltic, LOT more likely. SAS takeover by AFKLM, TAP takeover or insolvency. LHA,AFKLM,IAG,RYR,WIZZ,EZY to be the ones getting bigger. My opinion only.

i am always puzzled when i see reports from so called experts circulated which shall explain main reason behind sp movements. look at this article from reuters:

one of the reasons wizz is being hit harder than others is how extensively they believed to hedge their fuel. you see in this article airlines are compared and there is a chart in there showing fuel price hedging vs the ebit impact of 10% fuel price increase per airline. wizz is the last one with 31% impact vs all other airlines being under 10% suggesting that wizz is the least hedged airline in europe.

look at ezj. there are articles going around that ezy is 84% hedged for h126 and 62% hedged for h2. it is in their latest report as well. average is 73% same as in the above chart and this comes with -7% ebit impact. wizz on the other hand is shown as 55% hedged and the ebit impact is -31%. the source is jp morgan.

now the thing is that easyjet's fiscal year runs from october till september so the h126 hedging shown in their report is more likely for the period ends with march 31 2026 where they are hedged up to 84%. for april26 - september26 they are hedged 62% and for october 26 till mar27 43%. the article supposed to show the "full year ebit sensitivity" whatever that period means. but if we take let's say the apr26-dec26 period and with using their own logic we create a simple average ezy seems to be hedged 56% @ 683 usd and for the same period wizz is hedged 55% @ 683 usd per ton.

so if they can't interpret data and compare totally different periods the results going to be ****. and the source is jp morgan with one of the largest short positions. let's that also sink in.

There is one thing not really being talked about re the oil. Houthis remained silent so far but as the saudis are directing 2-3 mio barrels towards their red sea ports they might activate themselves. That will cause again a spike in oil price. So I still keep powder dry.
