WizzUp, sorry,yes, I meant 273 current orderbook. Your calculation is not correct because it assumes that originally they wanted to take all 273 by 2030 and you deducted the 88 from this. But it was never the plan to clear the entire orderbook by 2030 but rather by 2034. With the latest modification it also means that they are not going to reach the 500 aircraft unless they order more or they keep some aircraft longer as usual. By 2031 the first NEOs going to reach 12y. But let's see the updated fleet plan. They also want to move towards owning part of the fleet so they might want to buy those aircraft that are financed via Jolco or similar financial leases with call option .

I saw several airline fleet plans in the last 15 years and they are constantly changing. That's normal.

The 237 is the total remaining orderbook as of today. These were supposed to be delivered by 2034 or something. For the revised plan use the last published delivery plan shown in their F25E presentation. They had 231 AC in total at 31 March 2025. That plan shows 424 AC by F30E as a net of deliveries and redeliveries.

Since 31 March 2025 WIzz delivered 26 AC and returned 8. So the fleet today is 231+26-8= 249 AC today. (70 CEO and 179 NEO). By F30E they plan to have now 424-88 AC = 336 AC. From this 2xCEO and 334 are NEO. 334 NEO-179NEO today = 155 NEO deliveries by F30E. This answers D9Ber1 question as well. But anyway in the next call or by F26E thy will present a new delivery plan for sure. They might need to revise the CEO lease return plan as well.

Lee21, they planned to have 424 by end of F30. 88 of these deliveries are now pushed beyond 2030 to 2033. This is how I get it.

So they will have 336 AC by end of F30 if the redelivery schedule does not change. That's 7,8% fleet CAGR on F25E basis and 12,6% CAGR on operating aircraft level.

If you are into airlines you might want to look into Volaris. Very similar business modell, also Indigo Partners, same engine issues. They are not yet over the peak so it is a longer play and some other risks factors related to USD/MXN Fx, Trump trade war, deportation program etc. I did a nice swing with VLRS earlier this year, made ~35% . Might go back later.

BTW Concorde has a 20 GBP WIZZ target price

Sapi72, Thank you very much! I think the actual cost of maintenance obligations at the end of lease are higher than were expected in the beginning. If I recall Varadi even mentioned this in one of the calls. That puts pressure on F26 and will put on F27 as well due to several redeliveries. Overall this must be one of the main reasons why analysts are lowering their earning estimates. There are no indications that RASK is under pressure and PAX and capacity numbers are also looking good. They also might calculate with some costs associated with the closure of Abu Dhabi however in the Q1 call they said removing the loss making routes from their schedule will offset the cost of closure.
