So yes, I understand your frustration. Getting in over 4000 and selling everything around 1000 is a huge loss. Hope at lest you get some relief now seeing that you did not sell at rock bottom.

Very very high level calculation: Let's assume F26 pax numbers will be around 69,5 mio. Total fuel cost will be around 1,9 bEUR. With a capacity increase of 13% and LF of 89% for F27 the total pax will be in the range of 77 mio PAX. With 55% of the fuel around F26 prices (hedged) and 45% of the fuel at 1500 USD per ton the total fuel cost will be around 3,1 bEUR in F27. That's 1,2 bEUR extra or around 45% fuel CASK increase. If WIZZ would like to recharge it to the customers that would be around 15 EUR per pax.

jet a1above 1500 usd will be a heavy hit on airlines no doubt about that. among the european carriers why do you think wizz is the most vulnerable one? is it because it has the least fuel efficient, in****geneous fleet with high cost base? ticket prices will go up until a point it starts to hit load factor. air travel won't disappear so using your way of thinking don't you think people will choose lc vs legacy carriers for their trip? don't you think that people will travel within europe iso going to me, or far east? don't you think that lot, air baltic, norwegian will be the ones throwing the towel in first, consolidating the european market?

where is your margin per pax coming from and why are you calculating in usd? you know that wizz if reporting its figures in eur, right?

John , Which of my recent comments sounds like ramping for you? Did you even read them? You were sitting on your Ryanair shares for 10 years including covid times. Wondering how did you troll BBs then. You also have no clue what is my average price. I sold a lot of shares in the recent weeks that I bought between the Q1 and H1 reports . I made almost 30% with those shares in few months. I started to buy some back below 1000 so my overall average is way reduced. And what if I don't mind sitting on a share for 10 years like you did with RYR?

You call yourself a highly qualified engineer , bragging with your gold coins , auditing OEMs, your spanish home, whatever but you sound like a 10 years old who really want to prove something. I think your problems is that you look at yourself as someone really knows the industry and know when and how to invest. But the reality is that you only know where to look for debris at Airbus Broughton' production floor and you did not get the admiration that you wanted here . Buying high and selling higher is a good way of making money but not the most common one. You two can do that because you are legends but us little men try to find cheap stocks that might have a potential. Why is that hurting you? When do you realize that this BB is not about whether airline shares are good or bad investment but it is about WIZZ vs other airlines as an investment. If someone does not have the taste to invest in airlines will not be here and actually nobody try to convince anyone to invest in airlines. It is only the two of you who try to convince others to do something. Not me.

Your advise back in November was to get out as a last chance. If someone just kept holding 3 more month could make 30% or could reduce the loss by 30%. You two do the same now. Selling now might be good for someone based on average price and the person's risk tolerance but could be a terrible idea for another person. It is up to the holder to decide. Can the share price further drop from here? Sure it can. It does not take a Johnbri or Pogo to know that a war in f..n middle east hurts airlines. My 3 years old know that. This will not make you a good investor. If you two would be rally what you think you are we would be discussing here why WIZZ is a good or bad idea compared to other airlines based on its financials, market, aircraft type and so on. But you don't have the knowledge for that. Pogo never saw a real aircraft in his life I tell you. Why I don't see the two of you warning others in the EZJ, IAG, JET2 boards that big war is coming and no one should invest in airlines at all or if someone did already should get out right away. Tell me this.

And you think everybody here bought their WIZZ shares 4 years ago at 50 GBP and have all their money in? That also tells how sharp are you buddy. And the fact how satisfied are you with others being under water at the moment makes clear that you have serious issues. I told you in november ask for help. Whenever WIZZ goes below 1100 you are foaming at the mouth. The truth is if I loose all my money with wizz (which I won't) I will be less patethic than you.

Rupans, there are others here who can better explain but ETOPS means extended twin engine operational performance standards. Normally when you fly with a twin engine aircraft you always need to be within 60 minutes from a suitable alternate airport in case one of your engine fails. In Europe it is not an issue. When you fly transatlantic this would mean a much longer route vs the most direct route. Airlines can obtain ETOPS certificate in order to fly further away from alternate like 120 mins 180mins and even more. They would need to comply with additional requirements with regards to maintenance, crew training, procedures, on board equipment and so on. It's not something WIZZ would not be able to get but it adds complexity and cost to operations . For few charter flights they will not bother. They'll simply fly a longer route and have a fuel stop if needed. And they'd use their own aircraft for these. would make no sense to wet lease an aircraft to do these flights for them. It is not their business model.

They can for sure. They also can use regular A321s as well. The problem is without ETOPs they will need to fly longer routes that cost extra. For few charter flights it is ok but for scheduled flights won't work. And as they said during the Q3 call they do not plan to fly scheduled trans atlantic anyway.
