Another day of no buybacks yesterday. We had several days of high volume buybacks then 2 days of nothing. I wonder if they have a weekly budget. Seems primetime to buy currently.

Maybe but what we are seeing here is very different to how ryanair see the industry. UK increases taxes, ryanair withdraws a bit and easyJet benefits.

Vueling has taken up the ryanair slack here in Spain. The government here is very strong and ryanair are now at the end of the food chain. There will be winners and losers.

I have taken some more this morning and will sit it out for the up leg now.

As far as we are concerned to or the Costa del sol for the second year running we are the best performing region.

Our occupancy is over 90% which is unheard-of with EU averages around 78%.

Yes Thank you I know how it functions but for several occasions to the buy and sell were both above the ask. On that basis it does make you wonder how there can be that much range. It suggests that the MMs are extremely split both to set the range and to make the offers both ways.

As I recall last night pre UT it was 1404 or something similar. Today's UT 1387 and a 12p dividend so not actually that far away from yesterday close.

I took some more today almost at bottom price.

EasyJet will only see real terms growth in their holiday business moving forward as the holiday business absorbs capacity from the flight only.

We had the crazy market reaction to the AGM statement, then a bounce back up a bit, now we see the bounce back down. It's hard to fathom the disproportionate response to the AGM statement but the market is never wrong or never right depending on your viewpoint. Is it done yet.... Probably

Garonne I suspect the sells will show at some point later. My buy reported on time. The undercurrents pull the price not what's happening on the surface.

In my opinion this is nearly done at this level confidence and fear are strong feelings and right now others exploit fear. It's a long way back to £5.80 and it's only done it multiple times in the last 3 years.

Same story at ftse100 easyJet. In the same toilet as this share. Being in the main market will just add 0.5% to the buy price.

It's clear that support for the LSE across the board is reducing. The buybacks will remove maybe 6% of the shares or more, in the same time I bet 6%+ has been removed from the market.

It's a problem but the management has to disclose the risks to the market. For 2 years they have been saying people are booking later, it's now normal and it isn't necessary to keep mentioning it.

Looking at Jet2 pricing it seems robust and demand also seems robust.

I feel that the UK is done as an investment location. Now they seem aligned with the US and exposed to Europe and that is concerning for the country.

So where do Jet2 go from here. It's still a great business, it's performing extremely well and is extremely popular.

Easyjet are flying many more longer routes now at higher rates per km. This means less passengers but more money. The winter season especially many aircraft will be 13 hours on one return to North Africa.

Easyjet is evolving, the extra profit isn't coming from the airline it's coming from the holiday business. The upgauging isn't for flight only expansion it's for extra holiday capacity.

It's easy for you to see dear amongst some of the posters here but you know this is just another cycle as we have seen many times before.

I bought this morning I didn't quite get my target price but it's fine here. The business is doing well and the market sentiment is constantly changing.

I will wait and see before adding more.

So the price is 1389/1391. If I sell they are paying 1391.1. If I want to buy 1393.8. so why is the price 1389/1391.

The accountant for someone to win someone else has to lose. A good level to buy anything close to £4.50

Rich I have around €80k in easyJet. I have held 5 X that amount in the past. I sold BAE yesterday and I hold Jet2. It's dividend day there today. Just over 1% yield on dividend but 5%+ on buybacks so a good return assuming eventually the value is realised.

This is the 5th time the share price at easyJet has returned to the bottom of the range. Every time people have wet their pants so this is nothing new.

The confidence they feel at the top is no more real than the fear they display at the bottom.

It's not difficult to predict the cycle it's clearly established and it will be back challenging £6 again in due course.

I do find it revealing the way people are when things don't go their way. Obviously the share has been down many times. The UK won't be immune to the fallout across the Atlantic and it can't be denied for ever.

However the current situation is simply current and nothing new. When getting played it's important to know you are being played.

Like many I can wait a bit longer to put money here.

Garonne the American economic growth is nonsense. It's a result of the massive drop in imports in the quarter because of the tariffs. The drop in imports reduced the subtraction on GDP. America is physically in recession.

If you can't see how the US government is behaving then you aren't paying attention.

Ex dividend day today. Total shareholder yield will be around 6.5% including the buybacks. Although the impact of the buybacks was so far only temporary. The actual reduction in share volume will be felt over the long term.

Damian. On news which is generally 95% positive there seems to be a ton of manipulation. I understand that people are worried but the reality is that the share price has very little to do with the company which is doing very well. The share price has been 580 and 450 with no real difference to the state of the business.

The price has also increased by £1.30+ for no apparent reason so why are we surprised when it reduces under the same terms.

The business may improve by 10% but it's really about rinse and repeat over the long term. The share price is ridiculous but these are turbulent times. The UK seems to be aligning with the fascists in America and isolating more from Europe which is concerning. The right seems to be gaining ground in the UK which will be a problem for the economy. Easyjet needs to build on the German and french holiday offerings and bring them onto the same platform as the UK.

I never said their route map was the same. As far as holidays go their offering is most similar because they have flight only and holidays, they have the same aircraft type and the same expansion plans.

Jet2 has 135 aircraft and they have 132 on order. Proportionally that's very similar to easyJet.

Look at the others. Ryanair don't have a viable package, they are upgauging by just a few percent and they have Boeing aircraft.

Jet2 are a similar to the UK arm of easyJet.

As the UK seems to be where the trouble is it makes most sense to watch that factor.

In fact Jet2 and easyJet UK fleet is quite similar.
