13:46 to 13: 50. I had around 14 buys go through for around £19k all shown as sells except one unknown.

The volume wasn't available as a lump and £9500 was broken into 12 trades.

All very strange.

My 2214 purchase at 219 is showing as a sell. I wonder how many reds are blue.

With 150k, 100k and 21k sells so far today it's hard to offset £600k of volume with your average small investor. I suspect that these are holders from before the last update as we haven't seen large volume buying.

Clearly any movement up will be sold into if they have more to unload. I believe it will look like a very poor move in the near term.

150k sell at 8:11 will be a costly mistake for someone.

These chunky sells are showing the tide is out and all kinds of ugliness is visible. Old tyres, shopping trollies, £330k sells. No snakes until final results and a few ladders looming. One this week I think.

Light day of share buybacks on Friday. There is £3.38m left for today.

Looking at the max and min prices paid on Friday it's clear that rather than mopping up loose shares the buybacks are driving the price. It fell back when they weren't buying. This isn't how they should be performing.

Are there any cheap Airbnb anywhere near Málaga. Inland certainly it's easy to find but difficult as long the Costa. Hundreds of rentals have had their licenses pulled and it's impossible for new applications at the moment so the prices are going up higher.

Accomodation is the squeeze for airline capacity. Now the government starts to enforce staying with relatives at their property with them as guests. It's craziness.

There were some chunky sells that turned it down and towards the end some chunky buys.

It's strange that airlines did okay today given the ATC strike.

I think it has a bit further to go before the lack of liquidity starts pushing. I bought 2 chunks today with no problem. Still some chunky sells. I am hoping the buybacks amount to around £3m a week. It's where we are so far. It could get hard to fill that soon without driving the price.

I added another 4766 just now. I will see how it goes but so far it's looking strong and too cheap. I am sure the buybacks will be looking to maintain the current level rather than drive the price but that looks inevitable

Low buyback volume yesterday just 187k shares.

Liquidity may be starting to tighten.

I don't think we'll see much resistance below 2.49£.

Record buybacks yesterday. They spent £6.88m propping the share price up.

Just £6.77m left.

Will there be another buyback announced Monday morning or will the artificial stimulus stop.

The company has no input in the buybacks. They are managed independently as is always the case. The guidelines are established at the start and the buying criteria.

At the last update they had the performance to end of August and that would have had visibility through September. They updated the figures to the market and the share price dropped by £2. The buybacks mopped up the sellers greedily.

The buybacks will be exhausted Monday so it's going to be very interesting to see if the sells just stop or not.

I believe the share price was £10.88 when the buybacks started. I don't think it will drop that low as they have removed a chunk of shares from the market.

Low volume and some chunky sells again. I suspect that buybacks will hoover those gladly at this price.

I sold my last shares this morning. It's held up much better than I thought. The buybacks have been the controller for so long it hard to see into next week without them.

The share price was £10+ when they started and drove to £20. Since then it dropped back on really solid commercial performance.

Over the next few weeks it will test £2.50. The drop on performance that was well ahead of the market was ridiculous, add to that a buyback mopping up any traders and it results in a sustainable rise.

I don't think it matters how good the summer performance was in real terms. The market reacts to the words about current and future performance. We have seen how the market responded to a massive 9% increase in winter capacity and good summer performance because of the words used.

Unfortunately it's very easy for updates, even good ones to knock 20% off the share price.

The buybacks are supporting the share price and yesterday was a record day. At yesterday's pace they are gone in 3 days.

We have been under that opinion for the last couple of years. They have delivered consistently good results and been rewarded with a substantial drop in the SP.

I will be out of Jet2 and easyJet in November and will be back in once the market has settled.

I am selling down gradually and will be out by Friday latest. I will wait a couple of weeks to see how it is. I will then buy any dip and sell again before mid November.

In fact I will be out of easyJet and Jet2 before mid November.

September has been a very strong month on the Costa del Sol. Certainly another record through Málaga with UK flights accounting for around 40% of the load.

We have had a crazy 2 weeks with substantial last minute booking volume and now through winter is filling up into Easter. Summer 26 is 7% ahead of this time last year. Prices are up 2.5% across the period.

Currently we are booming.
