Aspers just poor timing then. As ai see it the share price was overloaded from the buyback. I think that fair value in the poor UK climate is a bit under the current.

2 years ago they made 1.96 billion, last year they dropped because ryanair got their pricing wrong, they dropped their average price by 7% when everyone else increased. Ryanair grew passenger numbers inline with the industry but earnt less.

In the current year if the reach target they will be proportionally growing behind the others in the industry over 2 years. This is because flight only fares are flatter than packages.

Ryanair model is stale, their aircraft capacity increases are small against the investment. They are starting from a higher point and have a much bigger fleet. Over the next 3 years they will show the slowest growth in my opinion.

I don't deal directly with ryanair and haven't done because they are price focused and we are 4 and 5 star focused.

Ryanair are in my opinion the least likely to expand. Cutting seats in Spain and in Germany. They have new aircraft on order but their seats per aircraft will only increase by 8 seats.

Jet2 increase by 42 seats A321neo over 737-800.

Easyjet increase by 30 seats A320 over the older A319 and 79 seats in the A321 over A319.

Ryanair are really out of ideas and options. They have expanded, they failed to open a holiday business coming out of COVID and they now look very stale.

I am talking with hundreds of clients here in the Costa Mijas and Ryanair are the last choice option. Those who come ryanair all-day they are their only option from their regional airport.

I like Jet2 and easyJet I have worked with both professionally and they will be the winners.

The market is down today and Jet2 with it.

It's got nothing to do with the business or the quality of the future.

Gripping the share currently is the loss of £1.5m a day support. The share price was much lower when the support begun and since then the business has continued their growth and we have less shares floating around. However a market has to be made and days like today the buybacks would have limited the downside.

I sold just before the end of the buybacks in the last incomprehensible rise as it seemed logical that it would drop back with no artificial stimulus.

I don't think it will go to 10.88 where it started but towards 12 looks likely. I will be a buyer there as I suspect others will.

To complicate matter November has Jet2 and easyJet results. Both will be positive but loaded with caution.

I suggest the price will again drop on good news which has happened many times at easyJet.

I hoped to be in and out before mid November but it's all down to timing.

I suspect that it indicates a tightening of liquidity. They are not there to escalate the share price and the availability of loose shares should be reducing.

At this price it's a bit ridiculous.

Interesting to see the small volume of share buybacks yesterday. The liquidity is maybe starting to tighten.

I expect to see this move up this week and towards £2.50 before Jet2 and easyJet report mid November which will provide another buying opportunity.

It's very dangerous to use the stock market as a indicator for the health of the economy. The stock market is always wrong. Into a crash it's always high and into a recovery it's always cautious behind the curve waiting on data.

Americans are experiencing much harder times already. My family are mostly on the west coast and they can see it. I have a cousin who is a long haul driver and he says that factories are closing down and malls are boarding up across states.

Luton to Málaga Ryanair yesterday morning had more than 30 empty seats.

I think that Ryanair are in for a tough time especially in Spain. Lots of negativity towards their actions against Aena.

IAGEZJ. Surely by now you have realised that trump doesn't have one winning tactic. He has lost every time he has threatened and the US has become weaker every time he manoeuvres. His only card was access to America. China has made America irrelevant to them and rapidly expanded their global markets as trump destroys well established markets.

China holds all the cards and trump has been wrong about everything so far. That's going to continue.

It's now at the point where the world expects trump to be out smarted and any market reaction is short lived.

Fascism has never been good for the economy and it's heading for the bottom in the US. Outside the propaganda bubble it's clear to see.

Lots of substantial trades this morning in both directions that don't seem to materially impact the share price.

We have probably more than one substantial seller. The volume looks to big to be from the recent dip.

Ultimately it needs to calm down before it goes anywhere meaningful. I think 2.50 is very achievable in the near term post whatever is happening now.

The business case is irrelevant largely as it's short term drivers the market seeks.

It will find it's level. I think it's going below £12 but that's just my opinion. I will be a buyer below £12.

Obviously it will go down. Not to £10.88 where it started and not in one hit. It will slump but I think it'll take a couple of weeks.

I could not understand why it went up the last week but it provided a good exit.

I am surprised the price was so resilient today.

I am looking at Jet2. Buyback launched at £10.88 then the price went to nearly £20.

The reality is that shareholders are more transient and don't buy stock with them. Buybacks lift loose shares off the market in a predictable manor.

Currently there's a volume seller or two, they will pass.

250k sell. I guess the buybacks hoovered that up as they still quote well over the bid for sells

I am out currently. I will be out until after the November results have been adsorbed at Jet2 and easyJet.

Hundreds of mainly small buys each day has dried up.

199,123,296 shares remain. The hey started with 214,553,850. The share price was driven from £10.88 to around £20. It collapsed back on decent results and has struggled since.

Today the stabilisers are off. Let's see where it trades.
