It's actually quite hard to buy without driving the share price. I added last week in chunks less than £5000 to stay within the spread. I think as it moves back up the liquidity will dry up at least until £2.49.

Strong buying despite a few chunkyish sells. I like the way this feels here. I think the next couple of weeks could be sporty.

Two other events to watch are easyJet and Jet2 in November. We could see a similar share price event.

This company is really a dating agency for hotels, airlines and customers. AI will massively impact their efficiency and costs moving forwards. They have £90m which is a substantial amount given the business is profit making and it continues to gain market share.

I don't invest here with a long term window so I have no concerns about the share buyback.

Why not, seems reasonable for a company who go into winter 12% ahead of last year.

The volume is unusually high currently and I can't see that lasting. I suspect that the volume will drop and so will be buybacks. However once removed the shares stay removed, unlike a dividend that's spent once. The reduction in shares continues to benefit beyond the strike date. If the want to lift 200k+ a day they will run the share price once the traders have gone. We saw some exit yesterday and so far today they probably haven't returned given the flat price. Any sustainable recovery needs to be completed gradually with low volumes. That provides less opportunity for the buybacks.

I suspect that the SP will be back towards £3 before December.

£927187 spent of the £25m. I suspect they will spank it whilst there is liquidity and the share price is in the toilet. They seem to be targeting larger trades, I suspect they will dry up quite soon. At the current rate the funds will extend around 10 weeks.

It's an interesting situation, the share price is to a large extent now dependent on external stimulus.

Last time they waited 2 weeks before making the first purchase. Maybe they took the opportunity yesterday and why not. It seems before they worked between 120k and 300k a day and supported on most days.

The benefit of share buybacks is they keep giving for years ahead with less shares available.

Dividends are easily positioned for and once spent the money has gone from the business.

The downside is the share price can become a bit dependent on the purchases and as it draws to an end the price drops in anticipation. We can see this at Jet2 now. Where they are 10 trading days from the end of £250m purchases. Timing is everything.

I agree, even if it spends a while at lower levels it's going back up. The buybacks commenced and will be in play for the rest of this year so lose shares will be mopped up on weak days. The business is in good shape and hasn't yielded to success elsewhere.

They grow well beyond the sector suggesting they are gaining traction in the market despite competition.

I totally disagree with that. At Jet2 the buyback pushed the SP from £11 to £19.50. This is now £50 which is around 15% of the shares. This squeezes liquidity and forces the share price up.

Whether the market ignores it or not is irrelevant it has a material impact of the freely available shares and lifts excess from the market.

Here the share price almost double over the first share buyback £1.60 to £3. With the massive increase into this winter it could very well exceed the previous high.

Interesting that last time they did a share buyback they waited 2 weeks to buy any.

Aren't the earnings 34.5 to £35.5 so 345 to 355m then plus 25m share buyback on today's price.

It's a shame that B2B didn't perform but they wasted no time on that.

However it was 31m in 2024 and this year FY25 adjusted PBT on a continuing basis (excluding B2B) is expected to be in the range of £34.5m - £35.5m.3

Obviously the £2m isn't coming from B2B and now they have closed that aspect of the business. They still have had a very good summer and report a good winter.

It feels very overdone after the pre report drop.

Later booking is a feature and it's been here 2 years now so they should be well used to it.

I am in the hotel business Costa del sol and Portugal and we had a super summer. Málaga record numbers again. Winter is shaping up and many wait, especially the golfers because they want to see how the weather is.

Although people are booking later they are booking in increasing numbers. We have added capacity the last 3 winters for the following season. Extra floors, extra rooms.

Winter we have many golf tours of large groups on packages. Super business
