Yes, i continue to hold and indeed recently have added. The risk reward looks better now. The uncertainty of test income is largely in the price now. It is quite possible on a company with different techs and market opportunities, for a share holder to be positive on some and less keen on other aspects whilst overall seeing appreciation in the SP.

And don't be coy, there are many here that have no interest in a "balanced" view. What do you think my post is? I am putting another view on the test income to provide balance. you react with hostility and name calling.

Blimey, this is a bit rich, The stick I got for saying if no material income happened this year then I could see a cash raise loom into view and all of a sudden now, MM, says, phew, its ok, there is enough revenue coming in now not for a cash raise.

PL gets all knowledgeable with " it has always been the case that even at the low end the LFD would generate enough cash to either fully fund for many years or accelerate development. "

How many are we selling and what's the profit margin and crucially, how long will demand be for? If those figures are not available then how can that statement be made?

We have no idea yet what the cash burn for the last 6 months and how much time and money has been spent on a test that the world may not want in any great numbers going forward.

Travel now don't want tests if you have been double vaccinated. People are turning off the app, because they don't care if they catch it or not, there are tests coming out all the time and what testing will take place does not mean it will be AVCT.

Masks now are not compulsory in many publics places and shops. (And this in a time when infection is historically high clearly the mood music is to now to "live" with this.)

in my view its a race between what income AVCT are currently generating from test's sold against positive developments in the AV6000k trial and hope that the test demand income will be sufficient until results are available.

Every week that goes by without an inked mega order, makes the need for such an order recede imo.

The govt has chosen a test to replace Innova and its not AVCT, (again). What else do we need to know?

And before some of you go mental, you might wish to consider that the market figured this out 2 months ago. So I would like to see the actual P&L sheet first and a few more actual figures released from AVCT before assuming the most price sensitive info has that has been released by MM, is actually true and not just an opinion. Because given the history of AVCT and its test, I am currently sceptical on any rumour and would want hard numbers first before getting too excited.

its not brilliant in my eyes CI, I and also a bit mixed. the recent low at 3.05p was, chart wise, a kick in the slats.
its trying to pull away but it needs to start with a close and hold of 3.7p or above. if it close below 3.2p then it looks like it will test 3.05p again.

At this stage we are getting higher lows and higher highs (which is good) but I'm not convinced yet that this is a definite reversal. Fingers crossed it will turn out to be and that 3.05p was the last low point but I am not sure yet. have to wait a bit longer for some more confirmation one way or the other.

My take would be that prior to the drill results (or lack of) that DM had plenty of circumstantial evidence that he believes the area is simply awash with helium and as a result expected to trip over it at the first drill attempt. I think further, that this view was reinforced at the very low depths, hence is over-optimistic interviews whilst the drilling went on.

Now it would seem, in hindsight and with the experience of the first drill, he realises it it is going to be a bit more of a "typical" exploration and more thought will need to be put into the next drill, both in location and size of bore etc etc.

The price now at 13p is a positive sign for further (short term) gains. if its not a false breakout then it puts 14.3p as the next target with then 16p being the obvious big number to aim for

DBD, the stability of the SP with a corresponding minor breakout has tempted me into a small purchase at 12.14p.

because this is within my 2 buy points (11p and or 13p) all it means is my stop around 10.6p is that much further away so i am risking a bigger loss. which is why its a correspondingly smaller purchase.

Whether or not you believe it but I always post in good faith. Day trading any individual stock, let alone small caps with large spreads that are open to being easily manipulated, is to me so high risk as to be pointless.
I use my method to time entry and exit points over a longer period of time, typically a few days to several weeks, just depending on what opportunities I think I see at any given time.

Yesterday the volatility and fast movements made me risk it, plus I had the raving hump about the fall and so was more aggressive in my trading demeanour but it really was the exception that proved the rule. Today i am expecting it to be calmer and as a result I may add some but am less likely to sell the same day, unless again I get quick 10-15% profit which I would certainly take. (A fast rise is always followed by profit taking which of course then leads to a retracement and pull back in the SP)

Without wanting to give out advice DBD I personally would look at these prices:

potential buy at 11p but be prepared to sell if it fell below 10.6p. That's looking to be a bit of support than it might break up from. A more positive sign that the fall has finished would be a break above 13p. (it tried a few times yesterday and did not do it, so if it succeeded that might bring in more buys.)
If it started to fall and I was not tempted by the 11p entry point then I could wait to see if anywhere between 8-8.5p came into view. That presently is the strongest support, but it didn't get tested yesterday during a very volatile day so at the moment that seems a long shot for it to go to.

So I have a plan to potentially, if it falls (11p ish) buy around there, or if it rises ,to buy around 13p. But the caveat is that it will depend on the action leading up to either scenario.

Sorry Guys I have to disagree, it really is'nt over sold. This is how the RSI works. When the market opened and we had that huge fall to about 9.25p the RSI fell to about 7.19 (anything under 20 is showing as oversold and the stock is likely to move up. an RSI of 7.19 is very, very ,very, oversold.!! It then bounced up to 16p and as it slowly fell back to 10.23p the RSI was registering 23!

So at 9.25p incredibly oversold. A few hours later and the SP is close to that low again but now the RSI is 23 and there is room for further falls. (that example was based on the a 15 minute interval.)

I use in fact Josh, much longer time intervals. I use daily closes. The time interval used should correspond to the trading timescales the individual is using. If you are going to day trade then an intraday, 1 Min, 5min and or 15 min time intervals for patterns to develop is necessary. As I expected to be in for several weeks those time frames are too immediate so i use end of day close for indicators and chart patterns.

Yesterday i traded ok and made some money back by day trading it. I will see how we go today, but as I say normally I will only rarely ever day trade individual stocks. Yesterday was an exception.

Anyway, I don't see it particularly oversold on any time frame currently. That doesn't mean it won't or couldn't go up from here straight away, but at the same time there is nothing in the RSI to indicate it won't fall further first.

So to me, its inconclusive as to what the direction will be first thing

Ah....This might sound like a pretty dumb question....do you find that reliable? By which i mean, do you trade on it so yo, in this example, buy when it hits 30?

Bluebay, I don't actually look at others interpretations on where they see the SP going.

Its a bit like a golf swing, there comes a time when you have to accept its actually pretty good and not likely to improve because once you start tinkering with it you lose the plot entirely and can't hit straight to save your life....

BP: can I ask what chart/tiime interval you are using as I don't see the RSI in oversold territory (OS being 20 or less)?

Noobs, Without resurecting the whole thing again as ST rightly points out, is tedious, but the (only) thing to remember is that chartist's work on the principle that all the info the market knows (including all research papers/ brokers notes, you name it) is already reflected in the SP, therefore there is no point reading it.

And I also agree with him that it is waste of time energy & effort in looking at or trying to find a relationship between buys and sells. Absolutely pointless

(Personally I don't even like "Volume" of shares traded as a reliable indicator.)

well, ignoring his view of me so it does not colour my view , I don't think his TA has been accurate, and I am familiar with the Fib sequence (although I haven't used it for years), but was puzzled at the time as to what levels he was taking when he said the retracement was still bullish when the SP was in the mid-high 120's

I don't think it can be now and i don't know how or why he has some knowledge as to what will happen tomorrow. Equally he seems very confident about being privy to a big Euro order in the pipeline but obviously I have no way of knowing the accuracy of that forecast either.

So tomorrow we will see how his prediction pans out and hopefully the SP will rebound back above the 122p support.

Right now to use your vernacular, yes I would say he is talking out of his arse, only because I can't see what he is basing his forecast on. (However, personally I would have just said," I am sceptical")

Marik, the interview was published last Friday but we don't know when it was recorded.

The recent video interview where he explained what had happened suggested more of a frustration in his tone and body language than anything else to me. Naturally he looked uncomfortable but I think he was aware that his previous hyperbole was not so much biting him on the ass as tucking in like it was a Full English and it had not eaten a square meal for a month.

So, I think he was genuinely taken a back buy the final results, however, certainly in hindsight, he should have had a more circumspect view when reporting on the drilling as it went.

It will be interesting to see how the next interviews go when the 2nd drill, wherever it is, takes place....

ND, I posted this earlier today around 9:30:
".... the 122p was quite a support which is now under pressure. (I use end of day closes before deciding what's looks likely next), but if AVCT fails to close 122p or above then we have to go back to November 2020and there was a pretty choppy range between 104p to 116p for a month or so."

Obviously since then it has gone into the low range of 104-116p and looks unlikely to finish the day above 122p.

It would be very bad if it broke and closed below 104p but hopefully that won't be tested.
