I would just say guys, that you cannot over-estimate the emotional pull of greed and fear on the mind.

If you read your posts (and most others) you seem to be more concerned (it reads to me), about negative posts rather than positive ones.

Yes, you say the positive ones are irritating, but look to an agenda on negative ones and ulterior motives rather than simply accepting that someone might be saying as Pedro is, be careful, there are professionals out there betting BIG money this stock will fall in the short term, along with the "headwinds" argument.

Its understandable that having bought a stock you want to go up. (fair enough) but:

If the individual believes "negative" posts can and do affect the SP unfairly and thats wrong, , then why post "positive" ones because that would be inflating the SP just as unfairly too?

But that does not seem to be an issue, so its ok to ramp a stock and the SP rises on that ramp but not the other way around?

As i say ,the emotional content in almost all posts is quite the thing to behold, imo.

My observation Bert, would be regards Pedro, that he posts as often as he does to, as he sees it, combat SCB's relentless multiple repetitive posts on his one-eyed view of BH.

If you are buying for the long term (12 months to several years), then my take would be, once committed do not visit this, or any other BB. Keep up to date via RNS's and base your (future) decisions on stuff like that.

You are always going to get polarised views on BB's with ultimately just peoples opinions on what's likely to happen and again to visit here on a daily basis it will likely either do your head in or just confuse....

Basically if you never commit more than you can comfortably afford to lose, then other alternative views should not have too much of an effect on the individual's mindset.

Actually its been a pretty flat week (so far) with the recent trading range of 3.95-4.40 not being broken, and the higher highs and lower lows I referred to earlier, taking place within that range.

As a consequence, this so-so price action has resulted in an RSI of 56.36 (to be exact on uesterdays close) which given its range is 1-100 shows its pretty much bang in the middle too, waiting for a breakout one way or the other.

Still there seems to have a small up-tic already so maybe your Friday theory is worth backing! ATB

If the chart could work today in a classic fashion we would see a 4.35p-4.45p close.

I should say, that's very much what I "wish" rather than what I expect. (The price will do its thing in complete ignorance of what I want... more's the pity.

But with higher highs and higher lows over the last few days, we are due an up day today hence the optimistic "prediction"

I think the SP as I said earlier has stalled on the delay. it was meant to be drilling in mid nov so now at best it looks to be very end of Nov.

In the great scheme of things 2 weeks is neither here nor there on the assumption that all goes ahead then. However, the market is going to be cautious now, because until it starts drilling it could be delayed further.

Its not to say it will of course, but once you have one delay then why not another?

As I say, I am now expert in all things drill related having read this (and of course the HE1 BB), so I know what i am talking about.... :0))

Pm, I am not black and white at all about TA/FA they are basically 2 sides of the same coin.

I offer a TA perspective on various BB's and people can choose to read them or not.

What teed'ed me of yesterday was simply somebody who does not understand the methodology spouting off and making silly statements.

Its this desire for some to forever personalise these BB's that dilutes any help (which is marginal imo anyway,) to the point of being useless, to new investors.

FA is about as helpful as any other system. (Sure has not helped most here to sell at 400p and buy in now. But thats ok they are here for the next 10 years. which is fine, each to his own

I only post to kill time while waiting for the bet to play out.

Look at charts on companies, see how many times the RSI was 30 and see how many times the SP fell further.

Then tell me how much, if you had simply bought when the RSI was 30 you would have made money on?

Who reads TA books? Inexperiened people. You think the authors don't want to maybe give these newbies half the picture?

So, SCB, given its so easy and you just copy WB, how are you doing?

There is a time and place for everything. WB is not infallible, he started off with money (which for anyone who has run a business that is a HUGE advantage).

Today with the pace of tech change LTB&H is a FAR FAR riskier strategy than when it was when the US cornered the market in global industry with little or no competition 60 years ago

I have no axe to grind about this: He did the right thing at the right time, when lots didn't, but don't get so easily overawed.

Try thinking for yourself before criticising others who are managing to carve out a profitable niche for themselves in difficult and challenging times.

TA is for short term, Buffetts approach was 10 years plus

one has not NOTHING to do with the other....

The 2 are not mutually exclusive...

I have over 30 years experience of TA so If I think the range is more accurate between 20-80 so as to be able to profit from, I am happy to pass that on. You, by all means, please ignore it.

its up to you but 29 is not oversold in my book. Anything below 20 is over sold

On its fall to 178p at 217p its RSI was 24....(at 178p the RSI was 15) That was on the daily close and again, its up to you, but a weekly chart close is too long a time interval imo to be able to profit from.

I am pretty stocked up on bio pharmas, what with AGL, AVCT and SYN.

ADV is HE1 all over again. (surely this time though.....)

Having some success with Boo and will probably bank the profit in a few % time and put it.... I don't know....somewhere.....
